Qualifications/Requirements:
+ Bachelor's or Master degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering Discipline from an accredited university.
+ Essential to the success of this role is strong electricity industry knowledge in AEMS (Advance Energy Management System) and ADMs (Advance Distribution Management System) areas coupled with at least 10 years relevant work experience in a similar capacity .
+ Experience in software development and a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC ) and integrating custom solutions into a product, in our case the GEV GridOS product is also essential.
+ Ability to demonstrate strong analytical, management and communication skills as this role would require you to effectively articulate complex technical topics with internal and external stakeholders
+ You understand how to trace a requirement to a design specification and the test plans / cases.

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in cloud architecture and implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of enterprise solution and deep technical expertise and consulting acumen to effectively guide customers through their AWS cloud transformation journey.
- Current hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
- Customer facing skills to represent AWS well and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
- AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies
- Presentation Competency for leading technical workshops and customer presentations
