Job Function/Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to be a fitting expert in intimate apparel (bras and shapewear) who can inspire, drive and execute trend right products based on direction from the NY Design center and Asia PD. The position has responsibility for meeting the fit and finished garment measurement requirements of multiple brands.  Must be able to collaborate with multiple partners in the design/development process to effectively drive the brand's design.  
Must have extensive experience/knowledge in women's intimate apparel fit and garment manufacturing including pattern development. This position is also responsible
for providing a constant flow of new items, innovations and manufacturing methods.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

1/ Asia Fitting center

·   
Ability to identify trend, color, silhouette, fabrics & technology in the intimate category.

·   Accurately determine, anticipate and validate future trends, technologies and cultural drivers.

  • Technical experience in the bra category – independently conduct fit review sessions. Make decisions and resolve challenges aligning with designer/PD direction.
  • Arrange and lead fit sessions, documenting follow up to meet approved fit requirements.
  • Manage / maintain consistency with fit models, finding new models as needed.
  • Ensure finished garment appearance, Fit on body, Flat Measurements and provide technical support when as required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priority projects & development calendars and meet deadlines as outlined.
  • Identify problems and develop solutions or innovative approaches to the design and development of bras to enhance the consumer wearing experience.
  • Provide NY design options to improve the garment as it relates to specification, construction, the overall appearance and fit enhancements or cost reductions.

2/ Regional Intimates support

·   Ability to support all SCM projects, New product development of intimates category in region

·   Lead the projects to enhance the technical skill of local sewing expert

·   Coordinate with Sourcing to duplicate material in Supply Chain Move projects

·   Join proactively in the cost saving projects in region

·   Engage with Designer/Technical Design on innovation intimates projects in region

Critical Skills & Attributes:

  • Expertise in bra construction and technical fit including molded cup development.
  • Fair knowledge of ability to create patterns and clear understanding of grade rules.
  • Knowledge of fabrics, trims and their performance in garment form.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, timeline management and organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for working independently and in conjunction with team.
  • Ability to interface with vendors/factories and their manufacturing teams to deliver fit requirements.
  • Must be able to work effectively with IM plants and TKS vendors.
  • Superior computer skills

Experience/Skills/Education Requirements:
