Our client is an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company specializing in the oil and gas industry. They provide services such as construction management, planning, procurement, prefabrication, assembly, completion, and integration/start-up assistance.

**Position: Procurement Lead**

**Type** of hiring: Permanent**

**Working Day: 5 Days/Week, 8.00 AM 5.00 PM**

**Location: Laem Chabang, Chonburi/Maptaphut, Rayong**

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement routine follow-up/monitoring of the procurement work progress aligned with the procurement process.
- Ensure the results-oriented with deliverables to the company and project requirements.
- Commercial focus on cost saving/reduction in, a competitive manner.
- People Development for necessary training, coaching, and delegation to his/her staff.
- Keep our own personnel regularly informed of the company's activities and seek such information.
- Give own personnel updated job descriptions, when necessary, which clearly define their areas of responsibility and check that their responsibilities are being discharged.
- Establish and keep own personnel informed of developments and goals.
- Ensure that responsibility for personnel is discharged in accordance with the company's management principles.
- Foreseen, and inform the personnel under the supervision of complaints and conflict.
- Make relevant decisions willingly and keep own personnel informed of the progress of their work and what opportunities are available.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related.
- 5 years experience in Procurement and Logistics fields in the business area of Oil & Gas Service Operations.
- Knowledge of managing resources and organization in the area with capacity, competency, and professional deliverables to the company and project strategy.
- Knowledge of the procurement process for products/services that define the criticality rating.
- Ability to manage/handle products/services compliance to the law, regulation, and authority requirements.
- Good cooperation and being a driving force in streamlining the procurement process and project execution.
- Good managerial, leadership, coaching, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Software and SAP MM Module.
- Good command of English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) TOEIC 500 up.

**Job Description**:
You will execute the Group Procurement Sourcing strategies and planned actions for the assigned Category in the assigned cluster, in line with the established and aligned Group Procurement agenda and relevant function priorities
- Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports on Cluster’s Category Spend, strategic plans, project status, and performance against established KPIs to the Group Category Lead Plan and develop strategic sourcing projects to deliver targeted savings and other KPIs, including cash flow improvement, risk management and compliance for the assigned category, in the assigned cluster
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from other functions to lead assigned projects, maintain progress and ensure timely achievement of the objectives, and share periodic reports on the status
- Enable a reliable supply base for the assigned Category, supplier evaluations, and manage supplier relationships, supply risks, and business continuity
- Interface and partner with users to understand needs and deliver continuous value, and a high level of customer service
- Own contract execution, compliance of Suppliers to contracted terms & conditions
- Support Group Category Lead in driving innovation through enabling Supplier engagement, providing local knowledge

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or any related field
- At least 8 years of direct experience in strategic procurement with strategic sourcing techniques in dynamic workplaces and FMCG industry is preferable
- Strive for excellence in Procurement, including commercial and process ownership for Category sourcing activities in the Cluster
