Job Description
The Product Engineer will collaborate closely with the design engineering team on new product introduction, and with key suppliers and contract manufacturers on sustaining engineering and cost reduction, to expedite time to market and revenue ramp of high bit rate optical coherent transponders.
Key Essential Functions:
1)Lead the yield improvement, drive product, process, quality improvements.
2)Lead the product debug and RMA activities and drive related action to closure.
3)Support cost modelling and lead cost reduction activities with cross function team.
4)Perform and coordinate DFX activities with design, test and process engineering teams.
5)Analyze and correlate performance of key parameters spanning device to sub-system levels to optimize in-process and final test specifications.
6)Create product trouble-shooting guides.
7)Lead failure analysis, root cause identification and corrective action implementation of components, sub-systems and field failures.
8)Approve readiness for volume manufacturing.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Education and Certifications:
1)BS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or other relevant major.
2)5+ years' experience supporting design and NPI of high bit rate optical transponders.
3)Very experienced on optical modules production and process on QSFP-DD, OSFP, CFP2 and QSFP-112,etc.
4)Very familiar with 100G/200G/400G/800G/1.2T optical module specifications and test requirements.
5)In-depth knowledge of analog and digital electronics, RF, and optical communication circuits and components.
6)Ability to drive solutions through cross-functional teams.
7)Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Supervising Team Members:**
+ Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
+ Provide on-the-job training and development.
+ Monitor employee performance & PA discussion and address any issues.
+ Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
**Production Management:**
+ Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
+ Monitor machines, equipment &instrument performance and coordinate maintenance.
+ Escalate & highlight the issues in production line & provide the information & insight from shopfloor to team for problem-solving.
+ Maintain accurate production records and reports.
+ Maintain & control the operator working following the standard work.
**Quality Control:**
+ Monitor & control products to ensure they meet quality standards.
+ Identify and resolve quality issues.
**Safety Compliance:**
+ Enforce safety regulations and procedures.
+ Respond to safety incidents and accidents.
**Inventory Management:**
+ Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
+ Coordinate with supply chain to ensure adequate stock.
+ Minimize waste and optimize inventory utilization.
**Collaboration:**
+ Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., engineering, quality control, maintenance).
+ Provide input on process improvements, cost reduction initiatives and kaizen.
+ Other assignment from supervisor & manager.
**MUST HAVE:**
+ Experience in Production Line Leader from manufacturing environment is a must.
+ Experience in Electronic manufacturing 5 - 8 years is preferred.
+ Ability to work rotating shifts, with days off that may not fall on weekends
**WE VALUE:**
+ High vocational certificate or bachelor's degree in engineering.
+ Problem-solving skills.
+ Basic English communication skill - both verbal and written
