We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a 1st Level Application Support. The role is responsible for handling initial support requests, resolving basic technical issues, and ensuring timely escalation to higher-level support when necessary. This position serves as the first point of contact for users experiencing application-related problems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as the first point of contact for end-users regarding application-related issues.
· Log, track, and respond to incoming support requests via ticketing system, phone, or email.
· Perform initial troubleshooting and provide basic technical support or workarounds.
· Escalate unresolved issues to 2nd or 3rd level support as appropriate.
· Monitor application performance and report any irregularities.
· Coordinate with internal teams or vendors for application updates or patches.
· Document support activities, solutions, and known error resolutions.
· Follow company policies and SLAs for incident and request handling.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· 0–2 years of experience in IT support or related field.
· Basic understanding of application systems, databases, and IT infrastructure.
· Knowledge of and ability to write basic SQL queries is a plus.
· Good problem-solving and communication skills.
· Ability to work in shifts (if required) and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
· Strong customer service mindset.
