Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in Mathematics and/or Science for Key Stage 1 and 2 students.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Mathematics, Science, or Primary Education).

Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or equivalent) preferred.

Experience teaching Mathematics or Science at Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.

Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum or similar international curricula is highly desirable.

Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.

We need full time English teachers to teach in the Secondary Key Stage (Grade 7-12) to start immediately.

Work hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays-Fridays

Teaching periods per week: not more than 20 periods

Class size: around 20-30 students

Salary: Depends on qualifications and teaching experience

Requirements:

• Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Education, English Language/Linguistics, or any related field
• Has excellent command of English in all skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing
• Has at least two years teaching experience in a regular classroom (inside Thailand is preferable), especially the activity-based teaching experience
• Thai, NES or NNES, all welcome
• Has excellent classroom management skills
• Need to be Co - Homeroom teacher together with the other teachers
• Can work in a team
• Has a TEFL/TOEIC/IELTS certificate which is still valid in 2 years
• Have lived in Thailand 2 years more

Darunakanchanaburi School is set in the countryside two hours west of Bangkok and is famous for The Bridge over the River Kwai, wonderful waterfalls and national parks.

The School is looking for one native English speaker to teach English to primary grades four to six. The successful applicant must preferably have a bachelor's degree in education and also your original transcripts so the school can process the work permit. The cost of the work permit will be covered by the school. The salary is 38k, plus 3k after a satisfactory three month probationary period has been completed. Also, after this period has concluded, free health insurance will be available. The school will also provide a free breakfast and lunch on school days, paid holidays and ten days sick or business leave per school year.
