Position: Laboratory ManagerJob Overview:

The Laboratory Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with quality control and assurance standards, managing laboratory integrity and procedures, and providing technical leadership. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and assign competency and module training, and contribute to developing and implementing Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) standards in the workplace.

  • Oversee the management of analytical standards, reagents, consumables, and maintenance of testing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and proformas.

  • Actively participate as a member of the Quality Management Review Group.
  • Manage the Pharmalytics quality system in collaboration with the Managing Director and Quality Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a science-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry experience in a scientific field (experience may substitute formal qualifications).
  • Knowledge and experience with quality systems (PIC/s).
  • Proficiency in common laboratory techniques.
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) (can be gained through in-house training).
