The position includes teaching English to KS3 and potentially Cambridge IGCSE English First Language and Literature to KS4. Therefore, having a relevant PGCE and experience teaching literature and IGCSE is preferable.

- Possess a degree/qualification in English or a related field.
- Have a PGCE or equivalent teaching certificate.
- Have experience teaching English across KS3 and IGCSE following the Cambridge International Syllabus.
- Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Possess the ability to work with diverse groups of colleagues, students and parents, as well as different cultures. Experience working in a multicultural/international school setting is considered a bonus.
- Be willing to take on the challenge of supporting/ accommodating ESL speakers in your lessons.
- Have a flexible attitude as our school grows and develops.
- Be a positive and enthusiastic member of the staffroom.
