Job Description
The Product Engineer will collaborate closely with the design engineering team on new product introduction, and with key suppliers and contract manufacturers on sustaining engineering and cost reduction, to expedite time to market and revenue ramp of high bit rate optical coherent transponders.
Key Essential Functions:
1)Lead the yield improvement, drive product, process, quality improvements.
2)Lead the product debug and RMA activities and drive related action to closure.
3)Support cost modelling and lead cost reduction activities with cross function team.
4)Perform and coordinate DFX activities with design, test and process engineering teams.
5)Analyze and correlate performance of key parameters spanning device to sub-system levels to optimize in-process and final test specifications.
6)Create product trouble-shooting guides.
7)Lead failure analysis, root cause identification and corrective action implementation of components, sub-systems and field failures.
8)Approve readiness for volume manufacturing.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Education and Certifications:
1)BS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or other relevant major.
2)5+ years' experience supporting design and NPI of high bit rate optical transponders.
3)Very experienced on optical modules production and process on QSFP-DD, OSFP, CFP2 and QSFP-112,etc.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

+ Review equipment data sheets and select appropriate equipment based on requirements
+ Support creation of structural or functional test strategy and test plan to meet project goals and requirements
+ Support creation of technical proposals with costed BOM and hours estimates
+ Ability to research and comprehend relevant product technologies and skills associated with product technologies
+ Develop production test strategies based on product design specification
+ Design and develop test solutions including hardware & software elements and then system integration, qualification, and installation to meet product, quality and test requirements outlined in the test plan.
+ Debug of tester issues using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies
+ Execute all validation/qualification requirements by applying statistical and common industry methods
+ Stabilization of Test Solutions for manufacturing working to optimize with process teams focussing on cycle time and yield.
+ Test developers may also work with product design teams with feedback from product testability, test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience.
+ Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**
+ Strong knowledge on test development (SW and Test fixtures)
+ Proven strong knowledge on test programming development (Python, Labview / Test Stand)
+ Familiarity with Altium Designer and PCB fabrication
+ Knowledge on fixtures design, setup/integration
+ Good verbal, and written communication skills both Thai and English
+ Must have experience with disciplined operations.
+ Must have experience working with and coordinating well with multiple intercompany organizations.
**Typical Experience**
+ Minimum of 3+ years of experience Structural and Functional Test development / support for electronic / automotive industry
**Typical Education**
+ Engineering Degree in Electronics or equivalent
