Currently seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven
Director of Golf Operations
. This critical leadership role is responsible for the overall strategic, financial, and operational performance, championship-standard golf facility located within a premier sports and wellness resort complex in a high-growth region of Thailand. The Director of Golf Operations will ensure the golf experience consistently meets international, world-class standards for quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to maximize profitability. Hold
  full P&L responsibility
  for the Golf division, overseeing annual operating and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets and reporting key financial metrics to Executive Management.
• Direct all facets of daily golf operations, including the Clubhouse, Pro Shop, Driving Range, and Tee Time management. Ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery across all touchpoints, with a specific focus on elevating
  Caddy service standards
  .
• Work in close partnership with the Golf Course Superintendent to maintain the 27-hole championship course at impeccable standards, suitable for hosting international-level tournaments.
• Design and implement a robust sales and marketing strategy to drive high utilization, optimize green fee revenue, and secure lucrative corporate and wholesale business from both domestic and international markets.
• Act as the primary ambassador for the golf facility, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, including members, corporate clients, tour operators, and internal resort departments.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a large, diverse operational team to foster a culture of excellence, high performance, and exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 7 years in Senior Golf Management
  , with at least 3 years successfully managing a complex, high-volume golf operation at the General Manager or Director of Golf level.
• Proven experience with comprehensive
  P&L accountability
  , budgeting, cost control, and strategic revenue optimization.
• Deep functional knowledge of golf course maintenance (turf management), Pro Shop retail, F&B integration, and tournament hosting.
• Experience in the
  Southeast Asian golf market
  is highly preferred, demonstrating an understanding of regional customer behavior and tour operator dynamics.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  Fluency in Formal Business English is required
  ; proficiency in Thai is a distinct advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, multinational teams and drive service excellence in a dynamic hospitality environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Affiliation with a recognized professional body (e.g.,

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a member of the coaching team for the School's Swimming Programmes.
• Coach designated group(s) as part of the Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) Programme, which runs after school from 14:30 to 18:30, as well as during weekend swimming sessions.
• Attend local and overseas swimming meets, tournaments, and competitions, as required.
• Support the delivery of the core Swimming curriculum during school hours.
• Assist in the setup, maintenance, and general upkeep of PE and swimming facilities.
• Working hours may be adjusted based on operational needs and will be discussed in advance with the post holder and their direct line manager.
• Responsibilities will evolve into specific short- and long-term targets through regular consultation with the post holder.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in coaching swimming.
• Possession of relevant swimming coaching qualifications and certifications.
• Prior experience coaching school-age children or youth swimmers is highly desirable.
• Experience in organizing and managing swimming events or competitions is an advantage.
• Proficiency in both English and Thai is preferred.

As the Swim Coach, you'll have the opportunity to help build a strong swimming culture that inspires young swimmers to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential. Whether you're coaching a beginner swimmer who is just learning to swim or working with more experienced swimmers to refine their technique and endurance, your impact on their development will be immense. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To plan and deliver lessons ensuring adherence to the scheme of work and lesson plans.
• Ensure safe provision of all equipment and ensure it is used correctly.
• Make sure safety standards are followed in sessions and follow all risk assessments.
• Provide explanations and demonstrate swimming techniques.
• Correct faults in swimming technique and identify ways to improve performance.
• To be a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children to participate in swimming.
• Evaluate sessions and give feedback to teachers.
• Regularly assess each participant's ability and progress and arrange for the award of the appropriate certificates.
• To constantly update, manage and complete your registers.
• To attend and support school swimming competitions locally and internationally during weekends.
• Work alongside the Head of Aquatics, other Teachers/Coaches, Lifeguards etc. to help ensure that participants are able to swim in a safe environment.
• To attend regular meetings with the Head of Aquatics, the VERSO Director of Sport as and when necessary.
• To attend Holiday training sessions for the VIPERS Swim Team out of term time as necessary.
• To ensure the pool deck and other coaching / teaching spaces are kept in a professional, tidy manner in keeping with the expectations of the swim programme.
• To agree to abide by a code of conduct and carry out duties in accordance with School policies, including equal opportunities, safeguarding children, health and safety at work, etc.

General School Responsibilities

• Maintain an appropriate professional manner at all times and support and foster the aims of the School.
• Familiarisation with the contents of the Teaching Staff Handbook, including the School's aims and policies, following closely the guidance provided in these documents.
• Be aware of and comply with the School's rewards and disciplinary policies.
• Be familiar with the School's health and safety guidance and be mindful of the health and safety of all members of the school community.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

VERSO's Swim Coach must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Sports Science or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience coaching swimming at a high level, with experience coaching both beginners and advanced swimmers.
• Certification as a swimming coach from a recognized governing body.
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification; must renew by three (3) months before expiry.
• Recent background checks done before employment to ensure there is no criminal record related to child abuse or neglect.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals, including parents, swimmers, and school staff.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work with different teams and organize team events.
• Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Hy-Tek.
• Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment that inspires young swimmers to develop their skills and build their confidence in the water.
• Passion for working with young people and promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Extensive experience as a swimmer of a competitive swim team is an advantage.

The Lifeguard reports directly to Aquatics Director having duties as follows :-

• Open swimming pool and check area to ensure safe and clean for the arrival of the children. Including changing rooms, swimming pool and surrounding areas;
• Prepare the pool for the children's arrival by ensuring all relevant resources are available and in good working order;
• Clear away any resources and secure in designated storage area after lessons;
• Enforce rules of the swimming pool where necessary;
• Must be poolside at all times when swimmers are in the pool;
• To deal with other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

The Lifeguard should have the following qualities

• be able to swim 200m in less than 5 minutes
• hold or have the ability to gain within 6 weeks of employment a lifesaving qualification

Job Summary

The Sports Operations Director oversees the daily operational, logistical, and administrative functions of the Sports & Recreation division within the resort. This role ensures the smooth and efficient delivery of sports programs, events, and activities while upholding high standards of guest experience. The position plays a key role in aligning departmental performance with the resort's overall objectives, working closely with relevant departments to support brand positioning and financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution

• Plan, coordinate, and manage sports events, tournaments, and recreational activities.
• Oversee scheduling, venue setup, execution, and post-event evaluations.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to promote events to resort guests and external participants.

Facility Management

• Supervise the operation, maintenance, and safety of all sports and recreation facilities.

Departmental Collaboration
