1 Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Respond to equipment breakdowns (e.g., motors, pumps, conveyors, PLC-controlled systems) in a timely manner: diagnose root causes using tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, or vibration analyzers, and perform repairs/replacements to restore functionality.

• Conduct routine inspections of critical equipment (daily/weekly/monthly) to identify potential issues (e.g., wear, leakage, electrical faults) and address them proactively.

• Document all maintenance activities (repair logs, parts used, downtime duration) in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System, e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, or local systems like Kingdee EAM).

2 Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program Management

• Develop, implement, and update preventive maintenance schedules for production lines and facility equipment (e.g., HVAC, compressed air systems, hydraulic machines) based on manufacturer guidelines and operational data.

• Execute PM tasks (e.g., lubrication, calibration, filter replacement) and verify equipment performance post-maintenance to ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).

• Track PM completion rates and analyze equipment reliability data (e.g., Mean Time Between Failures , Mean Time To Repair ) to optimize maintenance frequency and reduce unplanned downtime.

3 Equipment Reliability & Improvement

• Lead or support equipment improvement projects (e.g., upgrading outdated components, modifying machinery for better efficiency, implementing predictive maintenance tools like IoT sensors).

• Collaborate with the production team to understand equipment pain points (e.g., frequent jams, low throughput) and propose technical solutions to enhance productivity.

• Research new maintenance technologies (e.g., condition monitoring software, 3D-printed spare parts) and recommend their adoption to reduce costs or improve safety.

4 Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local safety regulations (e.g., OSHA in the US, PRC Work Safety Law, Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Act) and company safety policies.

• Conduct or support safety training for maintenance technicians (e.g., lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures, electrical safety, PPE usage) to minimize workplace hazards.

• Participate in safety audits and incident investigations related to equipment failures, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

5 Spare Parts & Documentation Management

• Coordinate with the procurement team to manage spare parts inventory: forecast demand, submit purchase requests for critical components, and ensure stock availability for emergency repairs.

• Maintain up-to-date equipment documentation (e.g., technical drawings, operation manuals, maintenance procedures) and organize them in a centralized system for easy access.

• Generate monthly/quarterly maintenance reports (e.g., downtime analysis, maintenance cost summary, PM compliance rate) for the Engineering Manager to support decision-making.

Requirements & Qualifications

1 Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

• 1–3 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing (e.g., automotive, electronics, FMCG), heavy industry, or facility management.

• Experience with industrial equipment (e.g., CNC machines, conveyor systems, industrial robots) or specific technologies (e.g., PLC programming, hydraulic/pneumatic systems) is a strong plus.

• Certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT), Electrical Safety Certification, or CMMS operation training are advantageous.

2 Core Competencies

• Strong technical problem-solving skills: ability to diagnose complex equipment issues and implement effective repairs.

• Hands-on mindset: comfortable working in a factory/facility environment and using maintenance tools (e.g., wrenches, soldering irons, diagnostic software).

• Detail-oriented and organized: capable of managing multiple tasks (e.g., PM execution, emergency repairs, report writing) and meeting tight deadlines.

• Collaborative communication: ability to work with production, procurement, and safety teams, and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Safety-first attitude: strict adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a hazard-free workplace.

3 Technical Skills

• Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, torque wrenches, vibration meters) and CMMS software.

• Basic knowledge of electrical/mechanical schematics, PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), and industrial automation.

• Familiarity with quality and safety standards and their application in maintenance processes.

• Basic English communication skills (written and verbal); fluent English is preferred for multinational or export-oriented companies.

Responsibilities:

-    Maintain machine and equipment in the best possible condition to ensure machine is able to operate continuously and properly.

-    Inspection machine condition and report to supervisor.

-    Record symptom, root cause and countermeasure of each breakdown or work order to CMMs system.

-    Involve in improvement activities to increase performance of machine.

-    Involve in Birdhouse meeting to get and share information to team.

-    Perform spare part control system to ensure spare part quantity to be sufficient for use.

-    Manage, supervise and coordinate with contractors and related agencies to allow contractors to work efficiently, quality and safely.

-    Able to work on over time on working day and holiday.

-    Able to work on night shift.

-    Any other job duties as assigned.

Qualification:

-    Diploma , Bachelor degree or  Equivalent ,electrical or any related field

-    At least 3 years' experience or depending interview result of maintenance field.

Competencies/Abilities:

-    Knowledge in MTTR, MTBF and problem solving skill.

-    Strong technical skill in PLC. Is advantage.

-    Experience in CNC machine maintenance is advantage.

-    Experience in Hydraulic and Pneumatic system is advantage.

-    Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Suite (MS Word, Office, Excel and PowerPoint).

-    Good attitude and always have safety mind and service mind.

-    Be able to work under pressure.
