Your Mission
As a Business Line Manager With Accountability For The P&L (profit And Loss., You Will Successfully Develop And Grow The CP Tools Business Through

  • Strengthening our relationship with the distribution

Your Experience

Background
University degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering and financial skills. Post-graduation in business management would be an added advantage.

Job Purpose

Job Purpose:

The First Line Manager is responsible for leading production operations in the Mixing area of the Ice Cream manufacturing process. This role ensures the accurate preparation of mix recipes to meet quality, safety, and output standards while managing a cluster of semi-autonomous teams on the shop floor.

As the key leader in the Mixing section, you will drive performance, compliance, and continuous improvement through technical knowledge, effective governance, and people leadership—ensuring a stable, safe, and efficient operation that supports downstream freezing and packaging functions.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Supervise Technical and Basic Operators within semi-autonomous teams, ensuring performance targets and hygiene standards are met.
  • Drive loss elimination, waste reduction, and efficiency improvement using WCM (World Class Manufacturing) tools and methodologies.
  • Lead equipment troubleshooting, partnering with Engineering and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure safety compliance across all activities in the Mixing area (e.g. handling of allergens, CIP processes, temperature control, pressure vessels).
  • Monitor and optimize material usage (ingredients, water, energy), contributing to environmental and cost-efficiency targets.

    Establish preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime, enforce equipment reliability practices, and involve the maintenance team proactively.
  • Safety & Environment (EHS):

    Champion workplace safety and environmental best practices in line with Thai legal requirements and EHS standards to foster a zero-incident culture.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:

    Interface effectively with internal teams (Engineering, QA, Supply Chain) and overseas counterparts to resolve operational issues and enhance efficiency.
  • People Management:

    Supervise, mentor, and develop Supervisors, Line Leaders, and production staff—boosting competency, fostering team culture, and ensuring accountability.
  • Continuous Improvement (CI):

    Promote Lean tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Single Piece Flow), identify waste, and drive operational optimization.
  • Quality & Compliance:

    Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, customer-specific standards, and international labor norms (RBA).
  • Reporting & Analytics:

    Monitor KPIs (e.g., Safety, Efficiency, Quality) and generate operational performance reports for senior management review.

What we're looking for

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field).
  • Experience:

  • 7–10+ years in manufacturing operations.

  • Experience in sheet metal stamping or metal parts manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Track record in setting up new production lines or plants.
  • Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, CI tools, and quality standards (ISO/IATF).

  • Proficient in ERP or MRP systems.
  • Strong capability with MS Office and reporting tools.
  • Soft Skills:

Arxada is looking for a Production Manager based in Kabinburi, Pracinburi. This position is established professional accountable for the efficient management of all production areas and personnel to ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, budget and cost control and delivery of production quality, cost and inventory.  In addition, this position will also foster a collaborative team environment and will identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will also have a demonstrated history of process engineering and project management capable of leading teams, analyzing data, and defining process improvements.

Production Operations

  • Oversee the entire production process for all products manufactured at the Kabinburi Plant.
  • Issue local batch cards and ensure production scheduling aligns with demand and planning requirements.
  • Monitor material requirements and usage to support production efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Ensure production targets are met with optimal resource utilization and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure the MOC is managed effectively at the Site.

Equipment & Maintenance

  • Ensure all production equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition at all times.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.

Safety, Environment & Housekeeping

  • Promote and enforce safety standards and environmental compliance across all production activities.
  • Drive a culture of safety awareness and accountability at all levels.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping practices are maintained throughout the plant.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and support shift supervisors in manpower planning and scheduling.
  • Ensure all operators receive adequate training and development to perform their roles effectively.
  • Motivate and monitor team performance to drive improvements in product quality, cost efficiency, and safety.

Cost & Resource Management

  • Manage departmental expenses and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor and control production-related costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Continuous Improvement & Strategic Initiatives

  • Participate as a member of the Quality Improvement Committee.
  • Lead and support initiatives related to new products and projects.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and operational excellence.
  • Implement operating discipline principles to provide consistent operations via the use of CI methodologies where appropriate.  Provides expertise to define project feasibility, process design, cost, schedule and implementation.
  • Technical team representative or lead in project meetings. Influence data driven decisions and adherence to committed cost and project timelines. Works with team to plan development work and can analyze data to reach conclusions for action.
  • Responsible for the management of projects in his area.  Accountable to resolve any project issues and proactively resolve problems.
  • Accountability to resolve any project issues and proactively resolve problems throughout the life of the project.  Ensure design installation, operation and operating procedures are in compliance with appropriate codes and standards.

  • Coordinates these inputs and a variety of resources (e.g., materials, personnel, equipment, etc.) to achieve on-time production of quality products within budget guidelines.
  • Identifies and resolves bottlenecks in the production process.
  • Identifies limits to production and guides teams to continuously improve processes.

  • In–depth knowledge of the production process and the tools and equipment used in the process.
  • Knowledge of materials and processes
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the business unit and how decisions impact customer satisfaction, product quality, on-time delivery and the profitability of the unit.
