Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.
  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
  • Records purchase, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
  • Processes and/or approves invoices for payment.
  • Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.
  • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity.
  • Place and receive orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintains records of materials in inventory and on order. Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock.
  • Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory management within the Food Services or FMCG industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; strong command of English is a distinct advantage.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships and work seamlessly across cross-functional teams.
