Principal Responsibilities:

·    Manage import, export, customs clearance, warehouse, and transport operations to ensure all agreed procedures and KPIs are met.

·    Manages 3PL vendors performance including freight forwarder, customs broker, warehouse, and transporter, to ensure all agreed KPIs are met.

·    Monitor 3PL vendors invoices to ensure costs are billed correctly and timely.

·    Ensure regulatory compliance in all local aspects i.e. IMDG, IATA, road transport, customs, import/export licenses, labels, DG storage and waste disposal.

·    Conduct stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.

·    Handle DG import license.

·    HSE Responsibilities: Safety remains the number 1 priority by making it an integral part in all activities. Employees must re-view their work areas to identify hazards and assess risks and opportunities. Any hazards or injuries must be reported to your immediate superior. The employee must comply with the HSEQS policy and other related regulations.

·    Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Required Skills:

· Candidate must possess at least bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related fields.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics, chemical industry is preferred.

· Strong knowledge and understanding of local and international regulations related to chemicals (add advantage).

· Knowledge of SAP logistic module and Office software.

· Good command of spoken and written communication skills in English and local language(s).

· Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability.

· Ability to coordinate across functions and locations to ensure successful outcomes.

· Effective time management skills including sequencing of own work and resource time management.

Role Overview
The primary responsibility of the Logistics Specialist is to work closely with the Logistics Manager to coordinate all regional logistic needs for the organization. This position ensures the timely, cost effective and compliant movement for all shipments. You will work closely with vendors, 3PL and Carriers to resolve logistics issues and establish control-related standards and procedures.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Coordinate the logistics operations for transportation of products from our vendors in Asia and MENA, which includes monitoring 3PL performance, problem solving, and execution of supply chain processes to ensure on time delivery.
• Effective track and report all incoming and outgoing shipments and advise status. Resolves issues.
• Analyze data to identify the performance of logistics area for improvement and implement the solution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of logistics processes and resolves logistics issue complaints in a timely and effective manner
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
• Partner with USA headquarters on logistics processes, reporting and 3PL management

What You Bring To The Team

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Logistics Specialist or similar role
• Knowledge of customs, brokers, and foreign careers and can comfortably communicate regularly with them
• Comfortable to exercise independent judgement on a regular basis
• Excellent computer skills (especially Excel and database applications)
• Self-starter who can work independently and is a fast learner
• Knowledge of transportation principles and practices, including classifications, rate structures, documents, and service labels required
• Native in Thai speaking/reading/writing.
• Fluent in English speaking/reading/writing.

How You Will Contribute
You will:

• Review and analyze stock inaccuracies and guarantee accurate stock alignment between SAP and the warehouse management system based on available information among stakeholders. Analyze and verify capacity utilization, performance and KPI monitoring, and introduce corrective measures in case of missing KPIs and the need to reduce additional capacity
• Work with our service providers to ensure the delivery of our trading partners in terms of punctuality and completeness, taking into account quality and HACCP guidelines
• Monitor inbound, outbound, co-packing, warehousing and distribution activities to ensure shelf-life monitoring and management, supports reduction of write offs and constantly looks for opportunities to improve productivities
• Conduct project-related and ad hoc tasks, in particular in connection with continuous improvement projects and tenders and peak management
• Build and provide full-cost analysis (yearly budget), risks and opportunities

How you will contribute

To make sure that our supply chains function properly, we need a qualified logistics coordinator. We are looking for a candidate who can manage a complex system that has numerous moving factors, has an excellent analytical mind, and an eye for detail. Responsibilities

Import Logistics Operation:

• Coordinate with Demand planner and Export country for goods ordering
• Ensure accuracy of orders and Import shipping document (Import Entry, B/L, COO) upon received from Exporter/Service provider to support clearing process
• Liaise with Service provider for shipment arrivals at distributor site
• Verifying the billing of logistics prior to GR
• Entering shipment information into the tracking file
• Damages/Waste reduction
• Developing and executing optimize service cost for total supply chain against vendor/ third party/ forwarder service performance level by compliance with Procurement souring strategy.
• Managing shipping document to support clearing process & regulation.
• Managing problem solving in the solution for all inbound activities
• Managing all shipping related activities including inbound clearance, documentation and liaising with government department
• To verify and approve draft import entry provided by service provider / forwarder which focus on term of shipment, invoice's amount, HS code and privilege and focus on tax refund privilege.

Destruction:

• Review inventory and confirm to Demand planner if products need to dispose.
• Monthly physical stock count and destruction

Claims, Quality, and Safety compliances:

Insurance claims:

• Completed claim insurance process from damage cargo through MDLZ global insurance.

Quality and Safety compliances:

• Follow GMP, HACCP, FSSC, Safety & Environment etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum 2-year experience in supply chain management, operations, commercial logistic or multifunctional logistics experiences.
• Minimum 1-year experience in working with 3PL, 4PL Logistics provider.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Intermediate English
• Experience in SAP SD/OTC/MM is preferable.
• Experience in FMCG market or Freight forwarder or Carrier company
• Process knowledge is preferable in the areas of Logistics and Supply Chain.
