Job Description

The Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Manager is responsible for leading maintenance team to ensure that the facilities, layout, and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, and equipment including people management and budgetary/cost reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Development – Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
  • General and Task Management – Oversee daily maintenance, repair, and installation operations for equipment, machinery, and facilities. Manage and lead the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery, utility with the Shift management. Ensuring the optimization of equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality. Lead all the maintenance procedures and activities. Be it adhering to safety regulations, to ensuring timely completion, a maintenance head works around the facility of the plant. Ensuring proper maintenance of the equipment and place reliability strategy include physical assets control of the plant.
  • People Management – Manage, coach, and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
  • Financial and Budget control – Manage the budgets of the maintenance plans and ensure that everything is in line with legal and safety regulations.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical/ Mechanical or any other relevant
  • Must have minimum 10 years experienced in managerial position.
  • Must have experience in food & beverage or chemical manufacturing industry
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and other systems relevant to the facility.
  • Experience in creating and managing maintenance budgets and controlling expenses.
  • Extensive experience in maintenance and problem solving
  • Has good people skills and ability to drive change management at all levels
  • Experience in TPM/ WCM, especially PM and AM to enhance equipment reliability
  • Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP) for tracking and analysis.
  • Ability to influence and work with stakeholders from all levels
  • English fluency, both written and spoken

Make a difference as Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Manager
As the Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Manager, you will lead the plant maintenance strategy to ensure facilities, machinery, and utilities perform at maximum efficiency. You will oversee preventive maintenance, manage breakdowns, and drive long-term reliability improvements through TPM and WCM methodologies, while ensuring compliance with safety and cost objectives.

- Setup monitoring system to measure key reliability metrics  ( i.e. MTTF, MTTR   MTBF, MTTD etc. )

- Analyze transaction patterns and identify potential bottlenecks or failure points in the platform.

• Incident Response and Troubleshooting:

- Work collaboratively with the Bank Operations support team as the first responder for any issues within the transaction services platform, employing a systematic troubleshooting approach to resolve issues quickly

- Develop and refine incident response protocols to minimize downtime and transaction failures.

- Conduct post-incident analyses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures to avoid future incidents.

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) for Transaction Services:

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for transaction services, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments with minimal impact on live environments.

- Automate service deployment and rollback procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention

• Security and Compliance Assurance:

- Ensure that all aspects of the transaction services platform adhere to industry security standards and compliance requirements, particularly those related to financial transactions.

- Work with the security team to implement and maintain security measures, such as encryption and access controls, to protect transaction data.
