Make a difference as Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Manager
As the Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Manager, you will lead the plant maintenance strategy to ensure facilities, machinery, and utilities perform at maximum efficiency. You will oversee preventive maintenance, manage breakdowns, and drive long-term reliability improvements through TPM and WCM methodologies, while ensuring compliance with safety and cost objectives.

• Develop and implement best-practice maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational performance
• Oversee daily maintenance, repair, and installation activities for equipment, utilities, and facilities
• Ensure equipment optimization, product quality, and compliance with safety and reliability standards
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team to deliver continuous improvements
• Manage maintenance budgets and cost-control measures while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Drive TPM/WCM practices, focusing on PM and AM pillars to enhance equipment reliability

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
• Minimum 8 years of managerial experience in maintenance within food & beverage or chemical manufacturing industries
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems in industrial plants

• Hands-on experience with TPM/WCM practices to improve reliability

Job Summary:

The Equipment Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production and utility equipment. This role ensures that all equipment operates efficiently and complies with safety and quality standards. The engineer also plays a key role in preventive maintenance planning, equipment upgrades, and support for production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment breakdowns or malfunctions.
• Support and coordinate preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) activities.
• Work closely with the maintenance team and production staff to minimize downtime.

2. Equipment Installation & Setup

• Plan and supervise the installation and commissioning of new machinery or production lines.
• Review and validate equipment layout, utility connections, and safety features.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for technical specifications and installation activities.

3. Performance Monitoring & Improvement

• Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and propose improvements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, Kaizen, or Lean.
• Upgrade or modify equipment to improve performance, reduce costs, or meet new process requirements.

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain and update equipment documentation including manuals, SOPs, calibration records, PM schedules, etc.
• Ensure equipment meets quality, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
• Prepare reports on downtime, maintenance KPIs, and cost analysis.

5. Spare Parts & Asset Management

• Define critical spare parts and manage inventory levels.
• Support asset tracking, equipment lifecycle planning, and replacement strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineer or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, Robot, Electro planting, Hydraulics, Pneumatic system of Electronics company or PCB or similar roles in a manufacturing.
• Familiar with PLC, automation systems, mechanical/electrical systems, and safety standards.
• Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or ERP systems is a plus.

•Lead the planning and execution of all maintenance activity on a production line. This includes creating PM work instructions and work orders to standard in SAP/PM.

• Be accountable for improving EPL% and MTBF for all machines on the production line.

• Suggest suitable training to improve the competency of operators and maintenance technicians. 

• Support the maintenance team with the execution of the maintenance activity.

• Review CIL and CL documents and agree with the production managers on the right settings. Test the effectiveness of the documents.

• Review available data and analyze the stability of performance.

•Suggest improvements and support the maintenance and production teams with their actions.

• Work closely with central maintenance team on planning work orders and instructions, as well as the necessary system data improvements.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or automation engineering or related field.

• Graduated in Mechanical or automation engineering is an advantage

• Minimum  5 years of experience in maintenance or engineering field

• Visual basic program / Microsoft Office / AutoCAD 2D,3D /SAP/PLC
