**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
**Managing Engineering Operations and Budgets**
- Manages the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems.
- Ensures regulatory compliance to facility regulations and safety standards.
- Manages and controls heat, light and power and recommends current best methods for energy conservation and economical facility operations.

The **Maintenance & Reliability Planner** is responsible for scheduling and planning of tools, equipment, manpower involving in maintenance and reliability, subcontractor and material usage in an effective and efficient way as well as developing and maintaining maintenance planning & scheduling vision, mission, strategy and techniques.
The Maintenance & Reliability Planner shall report to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager.
Prime role and responsibilities shall include, but not limited to:
**Planning Activities**:
- Coordinates with all concerns in Thailand plant and contractors about all maintenance activities such as day-to-day work, routine / non-routine, minor shutdown and project.
- Determines job materials requirements for maintenance task and processes requisition from technical warehouse stock and external source.
- Develops unit rate, manpower rate, material cost or specific maintenance cost and updates to management.
**Root Cause Failure Activities**:
- Coordinates and provides substantial guidance in finding solutions against profound malfunction problems regarding production and utility installations.
- System Activities:
- Ensures that relevant systems are up-to-date. These include but are not limited to the following examples: SOP for maintenance in EAM, updating specification in EAM, updating EDMS for equipment changes from maintenance team, updating ERS (specification, MOM, procedures).
**Outage/Shutdown activities**:
- Responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance pit stop and outage/shutdown.
**Team Advice activities**:
- Advises the project team on design, construction and method of mounting/building installations from perspective of maintainability maintenance costs.
**Qualifications and Justifications**
- University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial environment, preferable experience in professional/supervisory level.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in Predictive (PdM) and Preventive (PM) Maintenance concepts/ techniques.
- Experience in using CMMS.
- Good command of communicative English.
- Possesses set of functional abilities e.g. planning and troubleshooting, coordination, communication, innovativeness.
