About the role

As a Production Manager at KOHSEL (Thailand) Co., Ltd., you will play a vital role in overseeing the manufacturing operations and ensuring the efficient production of our high-quality products. Duties:

Supply Chain Optimization

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize multi-sourcing and ensure order fulfillment within budget constraints.
• Minimize emergency deliveries by improving logistics efficiency and supply planning.
• Ensure seamless collaboration with the Sales team to maximize customer satisfaction.

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure all operations strictly follow Safety, Environment, and Quality (SEQ) standards.
• Maintain compliance with Aviation, ISO, Bridgestone standards, and regional regulations (Import/Export, Customs, etc.).

Logistics & Warehouse Management

• Lead initiatives to streamline warehouse and logistics processes for optimal efficiency.
• Review, monitor, and evaluate 3PLs (Third-Party Logistics) and forwarders to maintain high service standards.

Team Leadership & Development

• Manage, motivate, and develop staff to enhance their capabilities and performance.
• Oversee resource planning, budgeting, and cost control to align with company objectives.

Performance & Reporting

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide regular reports and analysis on supply chain operations and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a management role in supply chain, logistics, or fulfillment operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• English Proficiency – TOEIC score 700+ required. (To report Japanese MD and Work with foreign clients)
• Background from Automotive manufacturing business
• Personal vehicle and a driver's license is required.

Quality Control (QC)

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform final inspections on finished goods in the Stationery, Artistic Gift Products, Hardware, and Electronic products industries.

· Follow up on quality defects during inspections and prepare English inspection reports.

· Monitor supplier defect improvements and oversee the manufacturing process.

· Ensure all products meet testing standards and requirements.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree or higher, with excellent English communication skills and fluency in Thai.

· Experience with audit systems such as Target, ICTI, BSCI, Sedex, GSV.

· Experience on either inspection or factory audit (Quality system, RS and C-TPAT ) experience on consumer products

· Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

· Must have a strong sense of responsibility, work ethic, and principled character.

· Ability to stay in Thailand for the duration of the position.

· More than 3 years of inspection experience in the Stationery, Artistic Gift Products, Hardware, or Electronic products industries.

· Familiarity with testing standards in these industries.

Responsibilities:

1. In charge of development, process control, and production write-out for Plasma spray, TIG Welding & Heat treatment
2. Develop, implement, and maintain Paint PFMEA and control plans for powder coating and wet paint processes.
3. Assess/analyze current processes and drive improvement projects for Safety, Quality, Throughput, and Cost.
4. Using problem-solving tools and techniques, address problems and act to define, resolve, and verify problem resolution with paint finish quality from internal and external customers.
5. Work cross-functionally with paint suppliers/peers on proper material specifications
6. Manage and monitor paint supplier activities.
7. Provides paint equipment troubleshooting and paint process control.
8. Assist in minor repairs and general maintenance of painted jigs and fixtures.
9. Develop and implement training programs for painting technicians & sprayers.
10. Follow-up action on newly painted model transfer and set up.
11. Perform part substantiations for thermal spray coatings, welding, and heat treatment.
12. Develop new processes for NPI and liaise with customers for FAI qualifications
13. Maintain and improve existing special processes to ensure that they comply with customers' specifications.
14. Develop training materials and training/qualification for operators.
15. Lead, execute, and manage process improvement projects using Lean, and Six Sigma techniques and tools to achieve process yield, cycle time reduction, and productivity.

Qualification:

1. Degree in Chemical, Material Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Be able to communicate in English.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in paint and special process engineering.
4. Familiar with spray gun system, pre-treatment, paint booth, and curing oven temperature profiling.
5. Able to read and interpret customer process and material specification, and translate the requirements to work instruction and documentation.
6. Knowledge of CAD modeling software such as Solidworks will be an advantage.

• Being fully responsible for the overall operations of clients' process production, enforcing organization standards and development of staff to ultimately achieve optimum plant efficiency and the highest level of quality and conformity
• Manage overall production as quality target, following the company's quality control systems, processes and procedures
• Responsible for production plan and budget and manage overall production to achieve its target
• Set up schedule and procedure for operation.
• Manage process equipment routine inspections during normal operation and special inspection during turnarounds to maintain facility assets
• Responsible as a head of committee of problem solving and troubling shooting to identify root causes and take quick effective action to solve the problems.
• To check if the production is going well.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineer /Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 7-10years of experience for Production management in Electronic manufacturing.
• Experience working in the manufacturing sector, especially working within an international environment. (Chinese / English environment will be advantaged).
• Management experience and possesses strong negotiation skills with a progressive hands-on management style.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop process flow diagrams, control plans, FMEAs, and other APQP documents to meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address deviations, non-conformities, or quality issues identified during production.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate documentation of process designs, specifications, validations, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proven experience in process engineering, APQP/PPAP project management, or related roles within the aerospace or manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of AS9145 requirements.
• Certification in APQP/PPAP methodologies and familiarity with aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
