Reporting to the **_Thermal Interface Materials (TIM) Leader_** , your focus will be **_responsible for monitoring and managing man, machines, methods and materials in TIM production line._**
In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Supervising Team Members:**
+ Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
+ Provide on-the-job training and development.

**Production Management:**
+ Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.

**MUST HAVE:**
+ Experience in Production Line Leader from manufacturing environment is a must.
+ Experience in Electronic manufacturing 5 - 8 years is preferred.
+ Ability to work rotating shifts, with days off that may not fall on weekends

+ Unassisted, define, specify, qualify, install, support and optimize test process and test equipment solutions for manufacturing.
+ Lead test process optimization, with a focus on productivity improvements to cycle time and yield for a broad set of test equipment within an Operations value stream.
+ Debug of test process and equipment solutions using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies
+ Collaborate with Quality, Process and Equipment engineers to detect and solve product and test yield and performance issues
+ Develop improvement roadmaps for test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, test time reductions and OEE
+ Analyzing and interpreting data and information from yield reports and equipment logs and product diagnostics to determine sources of yield loss
+ Provide solution support to Process Engineers to improve detection of known defect types as part of a Process Control plan
+ Support development of test equipment integration into Manufacturing Execution Systems including yield, tester log and product parametric information.
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**
+ Deep understanding of automatic test equipment (ATE) used in electronics industry, such as flying probe testers, in-circuit testers (ICT), and functional testers.
+ Expertise in defining, specifying, qualifying, installing, supporting, and optimizing test processes and equipment for PCB assembly (PCBA).
+ Proven ability to lead and drive test process optimization initiatives for PCBAs, focusing on reducing test cycle time and improving first-pass yield.
+ Advanced proficiency in debugging test programs and fixtures for PCBAs using techniques like boundary scan, fault dictionary analysis, and circuit schematic interpretation.
+ Thorough knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and common defects (e.g., solder joint issues, component placement errors, shorts, opens).
+ Strong understanding of electrical testing principles and methodologies relevant to PCBAs.
+ Familiarity with IPC standards related to PCB assembly and testing.

**Summary**
The Lead Engineer, Test Manufacturing accepts, transfers, installs, improves and maintains automatic test equipment and test programs that are used for product testing and design verification. **Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Failure Analyze and interpret data and information from yield reports and equipment logs and product diagnostics to determine sources of failure and yield loss.
+ Debug and troubleshoot product failure using data analytic, DOE (design of experiments), TDR, Six Sigma tools, and failure analysis methodologies
+ Collaborate with Customer, Design, Quality, Process, Supplier Engineer into problem solving and test yield and performance issues.
+ Drive failures troubleshooting and develop debug methodology since NPI
+ Set up continuous yield improvement and bone pile drive with customer and design team
+ Introduce proper debug tools and capacity per projected failure rate.

+ Deep understanding of automatic test equipment (ATE) used in electronics industry, such as flying probe testers, in-circuit testers (ICT), and functional testers.
+ Expertise in defining, specifying, qualifying, installing, supporting, and optimizing test processes and equipment for PCB assembly (PCBA).
+ Proven ability to lead and drive test process optimization initiatives for PCBAs, focusing on reducing test cycle time and improving first-pass yield.
+ Advanced proficiency in debugging test programs and fixtures for PCBAs using techniques like boundary scan, fault dictionary analysis, and circuit schematic interpretation.
+ Thorough knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and common defects (e.g., solder joint issues, component placement errors, shorts, opens).
+ Strong understanding of electrical testing principles and methodologies relevant to PCBAs.
+ Familiarity with IPC standards related to PCB assembly and testing.
