About The Role
Planning, developing, and implementing speaker processes for new program launch. Provide manufacturing information, including process time, labor needs and investment for new speaker RFQ. Support speaker manufacturing plant for quality and efficiency improvement.

What You Will Do
New speaker program Industrialization

• New speaker project ED (Engineering Development) & DV (Design Verification) & industrialization.
• Base on speaker design concept, provide RFQ required manufacturing information on time, including Process Flow Mapping Document (process mapping, cycle time, Direct Labor, Fixture & Equipment).
• Evaluate and define manufacturing location & production line and evaluate relevant investment needs.
• Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturing) review, highlight process risks to Project Manager, R&D team.
• Align fixture design and fabrication to meet build schedule.
• Support Thailand plants on new speaker PV build & industrialization.
• Release manufacturing BOM (M-BOM) to plant.
• Conduct project gate review.

Speaker new process development

• Develop documented specifications for new processes
• Develop new process PFMEA and provide input on control plan, hand over to plant engineering
• Manage the creation and maintenance of Process Specifications, Hardware Specifications, and Best Practices
• Work with global speaker team members to standardize production processes across the organization.
• Work with global speaker team members to develop and implement best practices in production that result in the best possible quality level while managing costs.
• Manage the creation and maintenance of Process Specifications, Hardware Specifications, and Best Practices
• Support plastic molding process industrialization in LC plant
• Facilitate knowledge transfer about all aspects of transducer process to plant engineering team.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanism/Electronics/Automation etc.)
• 5 years' experience of process engineering with automatic or semi-automatic manufacturing processes in automotive industry.
• Experience in launching & industrializing new products, be familiar with new project development process.
• Good English communication.

About the role

As an Industrial Engineering (Cost Sheet Engineer) at Stars Microelectronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the company's manufacturing processes and driving operational efficiency. In this full-time position based in Ayutthaya, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive cost sheets to support the company's strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide RFQ cost sheet for new product of PCBA (SMT, box build).

• Evaluate on RFQ product information in order to design the process flow, material type and usage, machines and UPH for providing cost.
• Calculate and estimate the machine UPH for each process for the RFQ products which the factory has never run before.
• Communicate with NPI SMT Engineer to confirm process flow, tooling, material usage, machines, UPH and packing.
• Continuous improvement for Cost Sheet accuracy and cycle time reduction.
• Monitor Process Control which related to cost.
• Update cost sheet to match with actual process.
• Provide routing operation and material that exclude customer BOM to BOM engineer.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a cost engineering or industrial engineering role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
