**Job Description**
This position is accountable for delivering in-region manufacturing application planning, implementation and change management with excellence and in partnership with plant, regional and global stakeholders, Including functional and technical SMEs. This position is also required to strategize roadmap for productivity delivery with specific focus on each of conversion cost components. Supervising Team Members:

Phononic is seeking an experienced programmer/analyst/manager to lead the Manufacturing Systems Team for our U.S. and Thailand based sites. The position is based in Bangkok, Thailand but will require some overlap with eastern U.S. working hours to interact with leadership and the U.S. based IT team. This is a working manager position which includes both leadership and individual contributor components.

The Manufacturing Systems Lead will work with business leaders to plan and prioritize activities that support operational goals for Phononic's global manufacturing organization. This includes core manufacturing systems (MES, Database), shop floor infrastructure (Workstations, Label Printing, Tool Backups), and advanced manufacturing solutions (Tool Automation/Integration, Automated Visual Inspection using AI and Machine Learning).

Duties Include:

· Provide guidance on strategic and tactical directions for the company with regards to Manufacturing Systems.

· Work with business leaders to prioritize objectives.

**Job Overview**
TE Connectivity's Manufacturing and Process Development Engineering Teams significantly impact LEANPD driven new product development projects, driving for excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods and striving to implement new manufacturing technologies to provide improved process and tolerance control. They act as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface. They support Product Development in the optimization of designs and piece parts for manufacturability by realizing sample tooling/products/prototypes. They also design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE quality and production standards, document all processes and tooling in applicable TE systems, support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability, initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, cost and cycle time and adhere to all appropriate specifications, regulatory requirements and customer requirements.
**What your background should look like:**
Responsibilities:
- Die design and develop new molding dies that can run at high efficiency, produce excellent product quality at reduced manufacturing cost
- Responsible for develop tool by asset (tooling, FAA, , PPAP, Asset, Safe launch)
- Design Review, FMEA
- Feasibility study for molding process
- Cost Saving(Material Reduction, Improve Productivity)
- Die design standardization.
- Review and check die conceptual layout and detailed drawings
- Enhance CAD / CAE / CAM application
- Develop and introduce new molding technique and technology
- Foster of molding engineer and supplier
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience in related functional
- Ability to use CAD/ CAM/ CAE software (2D Auto CAD/ 3D Creo)
- Well versed knowledge of die design and equipment (Press machine, Vision System)
- Molding Die Design
- Design of modification for productivity
- Instruction to Vendor
- Excellent Problem solving technique
- Creative, leadership skill, analytical, P-FMEA

  • Lead disciplined process for solving complex single stage or multistage product, process, component, and related problems that affect the efficient operation and/or manufacture of products through the full manufacturing process.
  • Initiate and lead the assessment and provide feedback to product designers on suitability of designs for manufacturability.
