**Role Introduction**:
We are looking for well-qualified teachers with experience teaching A level Further Mathematics and take the lead role of Mathematics Subject Coordinator across the school (Nursery to Y13). It is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in one of Thailand's most iconic islands, while contributing to a unique, result-driven, pedagogic approach.
**Main Duties**:
Teaching:
- Contribute widely to the school through, for example, enrichment activities, developing impactful teaching methods and curriculum, interventions to support individuals or groups of students, administering internal examinations or outreach activities;
- Seek to develop your own professional practice and development in conjunction with our leadership team;
- Follow the school’s assessment and reporting policies, teacher’s manual, and attend parents’ meetings as required;
- Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school as agreed with our leadership team;
- Be committed to the safeguarding of all young people;
- Tutor various sized groups of pupils, taking an interest in their well-being and academic progress;
- Assist on a regular basis in various initiatives such as educational development or pastoral care, supporting the school and getting to know students.
Coordinate the continuous development of mathematics learning at PBISS:
**1. Leadership and Management**:
1.1 be responsible and accountable for setting and advancing the academic strategy of the Department in line with PBISS’s strategic plans and direction
1.2 develop and sustain appropriate structures for management, consultation, decision-making and communication with staff and students
1.3 promote and represent PBISS both internally and externally
**2. Responsibility for Teaching and Students**:
2.1 ensure the best possible student experience through:
- the fulfillment of PBISS´s responsibilities concerning students in respect of their admission, instruction, progress and examination;
- adherence to the regulations and procedures of the school
2.2 refresh and develop new programmes in order to improve students’ outcome and attract new students and markets
**3. People Management**:
3.1 ensure that staff performance is managed appropriately and in a way that is consistent with the expectations of PBISS, and that fair workload allocation processes are in place
3.2 ensure all staff have access to the necessary support to enable them to contribute fully and develop their skills and experience
3.3 engender a culture of excellence, co-operation and respect both within and beyond the department
3.4 make effective use of all staffing resources and seek opportunities for collaboration and joint working with others beyond the department and beyond the Faculty
3.5 ensure students are included as appropriate in the various decision-making instruments within the department
3.6 ensure a safe and healthy environment for both staff and students
**4. Quality Assurance**:
4.1 ensure all activities are carried out to the highest possible standards and put in place the necessary evaluation and monitoring procedures to ensure both compliance and improvement: such procedures will include teaching and management of all resources
4.2 comply with auditing, quality assurance and risk management procedures both internal and external

TSIS International School has been managed by International Schools Services (ISS) since 2017. ISS is associated with over 350 schools in 70 countries.
We are currently seeking a new staff member to teach Maths lessons to our IGCSE and A-level students at our Bearing Campus.
Our school’s expectations are in line with International UK curriculum schools. Contact time will be approx. 28 out of 40 periods/week. Proven exam results in UK examinations is highly desirable. A commitment to the school’s extra-curricular activities program is also essential.
TSIS offers a competitive package which includes salary, housing & flight allowance, end of contract bonus and health insurance. Free tuition for up to 2 children can also be offered if required.
