1. Maintain and improve an existing React Native mobile application built with TypeScript for both iOS and Android platforms
2. Debug and fix issues in both frontend (React Native) and backend )
3. Collaborate with the internal development team to implement updates and new features
4. Ensure smooth integration with existing APIs and third-party services
5. Work with AWS infrastructure to manage hosting, databases, and deployment pipelines
6. Improve application performance, usability, and stability
7. Write clean, maintainable code and update technical documentation when required
8. Provide ongoing technical support after system go-live, including updates and issue resolution

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
2. At least 2 years of experience in developing mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript
3. Solid experience with and integrating RESTful APIs
4. Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) for deployment and hosting
5. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for both frontend and backend
6. Basic knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
8. Experience working on live/production systems and post-launch support is a plus

Work according to project timelines and meet deadlines

1. Achieve operational objectives by responsible for making sure that the software is delivered with the best quality, meet all the requirements, and within the reasonable timeline. Support integration/production incident investigation with timely resolution.

2. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices, habits, and make sure that the standards and practices that have been set are followed by the team.

3. Work closely with Product Owner and Application Designer to clearly understand the requirement and can identify what need to be developed and improved. Participate in planning sessions to provide accurate estimation of the requirements provided.

4. Keep up with industry best practices and trends on behalf of the development team and the larger engineering team. Conduct research, tests, and implements new techniques that can be reused and applied to any site/software development project.

5. Exploring opportunities and maintaining personal networks to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications:

1. 0-3 years of experience in web frontend technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Less/Sass, AJAX, Web Components) and/or backend service technologies (Java, , Golang)

2. Experience in using one of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, Angular, React, , Polymer)

3. Experience in building single page application (SPA) and good understanding of Progressive Web App (PWA)

4. Knowledge of web service and its related technologies, RESTful, SOAP, XML, JSON

5. Good understanding of Microservice architecture

6. Experience in working with SQL/NoSQL Database (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), can write effective SQL statements

7. Experience in using or building CI/CD workflow for web application project

8. Experience in using Git as source code version management tool

9. Experience in mobile application development is a plus (iOS, Android)

10. Knowledge of online security practices and protocols

11. Confidence to challenge the status quo, communicate new ideas, and provide informed opinions

About the role

• Advanced Frontend Development
  : As a Frontend Engineer, you'll work with a stack that includes Webpack 5 with custom config and Tailwind CSS for our operational teams to manage and monitor all TAO BIN machines world wide. For another project, we are using Vite with React Router v7 framework mode. You'll need to be skilled in writing extensive CSS, as our project relies heavily on Tailwind CSS with some use of Material UI for form inputs and React hook form for form validations
• Technical Proficiency in Modern Tools
  : Your role requires proficiency in TypeScript, and TanStack Query for server state management. Familiarity with axios and cookies for managing Auth state is crucial. You should also be adept in React Query code gen, and knowledgeable in both REST and GraphQL.
• Expertise in React
  : Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of React custom hooks and most React hooks, as well as experience with React Router 6 and React Router 7 framework mode.
