**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- This role requires Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in the following technology capabilities:
- Appreciation of experience design and translating visual designs into code for engaging and beautiful digital experiences
- Experience in delivering projects using Agile methods and tools such as Jira.
- Main stream web front-end technologies HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, ReactJS.
- Any experience in iOS and Android native development a plus.
- Developing and testing optimized code across multiple browsers, platforms and operating systems
- Developing for Search Engine Optimization
- Analytics solutions such as Google Analytics

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- This role also involves the following:
- Provide thought leadership to the business around innovative technology lead solutions
- Provide thought leadership to the team around new approaches, workflows and technologies.
- Knowledge of technology trends, including but not restricted to front end & back end technologies, Rapid Prototyping, Behavior Driven Development, trends in Social Networking/Media, Video and Streaming
- Own front-end technology related content and estimation in IBM responses to Requests for Information (RFI), responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP), IBM contracts, and IBM Statements of Work.
- Execute interactive and outcome-driven workshops to capture & document client requirements and develop solution ideas
- Performs quality review of project deliverables. Leads work sessions and deliverable presentations with client team members.
- People Management: Mentors junior consultants, engagement managers and other more junior delivery consultants on the proposal and/or delivery teams as appropriate.
- Competency: Recognized as an expert in their competency and/or specific offerings.
- iX Community: Participates in and/or is responsible for the creation, harvesting, protection and reuse of IBM's intellectual capital. Participates actively in and in some cases leads knowledge sharing activities like communities of practice, forums, conferences and/or other knowledge exchanges.

Work with a variety of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL, Postgres, DB2, MongoDB), operating systems (Linux, Windows, iOS, Android), and modern UI frameworks (Backbone.js, AngularJS, React.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, and JQuery).
Work across the entire system architecture, from backend to front end, to design, develop, and support high quality and scalable products.

Have knowledge of modern frameworks such as Angular or React.js.

Exposure in writing RESTful APIs using Microservices architecture and Spring Boot framework.
Familiar with twelve-factor cloud design principles.
Experience in following a structure methodology.

Design and develop business logics, frameworks, and APIs to create new features and enhance existing ones using Java/Node.js/Golang.
Deliver consistently high-quality work products with high test coverage on time as planned.
Work closely with Team Lead and Product Owner to size and break down requirements for new features.
Use CI/CD tools to automate the working process in software development and deployment.
Collaborate with team members effectively, conduct code reviews, and knowledge sharing regularly.

**Qualifications**:
At least 4 years of experience as a Backend developer or similar role.
At least 2 years of experience in software development using at least two programming languages; Java / Node.js / Golang.
Extensive experience in using Java / Golang / Node.js with TypeScript with web frameworks for building web services.
Experienced with unit and integration testing tools is a must.
Experienced with Docker and Kubernetes is a must.
Strong understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, design patterns, and clean architecture.
Experienced with Kafka or Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
Experienced with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
Experienced with other backend programming languages is a plus.
Experienced with Terraform is a plus.
Familiar with event-driven microservice is a plus.
