  • Ensure that all Safety, Occupational health and Environment at work management relatedactivities are implement in compliance with Shell HSE Framework, BS OHSAS/ TISI 18001 standard, process safety management and Thai Law.
  • Leading Area Production Unit (APU) Safety management program implementation improvement through sharing and facilitating best practices with other plants and by creating best means and/or channels for communications to serve this purpose.
  • Create activities to promote safety awareness and safety campaign e.g. monthly safety activities, safety newsletters, safety day for both staff and contractors, etc.
  • Coordinate with Area Production Unit, Engineering and Project to provide safety support in Shutdown and Start-up planning/activities.
  • Participant in Area Production Unit (APU) Meeting to discuss on all Safety, Occupational Health and Environment at work activities to ensure that all areas are operating safely and to meet the refinery KPI ( TRCF, LTIF, Fire, LOPC and other Process Safety Indicators)
  • Leading safety risk assessment (comply with BS OHSAS/TISI to ensure risk is well manage and prepare documentation to report to the MOI as mandatory for permit revalidation.
  • Conduct audit, Identify and monitor/working environment, and audit of compliance to reduce potential risk on Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment at work and advise recommendation to correct and improve as needed
  • Conduct audit compliance all assigned PSM area procedure/ work instruction are current (certified or revised on schedule) and accurate.
  • Leading to carry out permit to work and other high risk activities compliance and advise recommendation to correct and improve as needed.
  • Track and follow up of actions/completion to ensure timing solution of any findings from Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment audits and other safety assessment activities.
  • Leading an investigation and analysis of all accidents/ incidents and Occupational illness in APU in order to prevent reoccurrence and provide measures for accident prevention.
  • Provide technical expertise, consultancy and interpretation of Safety, Occupational Health and Environment at work codes including legislative standards and requirements.
  • Conduct safety training/ competency development as plan and be a Instructor.
  • Provide the overall Safety, Occupational Health and Environment at work performance reports to provide an Management Information and benchmarking as well as to further improve as appropriated.
  • Prepare safety report; Safety Officer Report (จป. 1/ 2/ 3) and other reports (i.e. annual report, SD report and DJSI report)
  • Take active role of safety advisor in case of emergency in accordance with the Emergency Procedure.
  • Perform as the safety specialist focal point for Area Production Unit plant changes project.
  • Ensure site construction safety are implement in accordance with Construction safety management.
  • Develop and conduct lesson learned sharing from accident/incident related personal safety in Area Production Unit.
  • Keep up to date with new legislation and health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor  in Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering, Engineering (board range of discipline) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience (Safety officer Professional level).
  • Good knowledge, tact, courage, co-operative abilities is necessity.
  • Ability to acquire an understanding of legal matters and to apply industry legislation and standards
  • Proactive and analytical ability.
  • Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for assessing the risk in hotel work environment to minimizing associates' illness and injury during work hour. Inspecting hazardous factor in the work environment, quality of equipment or facility that used by associates. Lead the organization toward a healthy and safe work environment by advising, monitoring, and reporting in the workplace, and engaging staff in programs that ensure safe practices in the workplace.

Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. About the role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team at KYOCERA AVX Components (Bangkok) Ltd. in Nakhon Ratchasima. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the implementation and continual improvement of the plant's environmental, health, and safety management systems in alignment with Thai regulations, ISO standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001), and the company's ESG goals. The role ensures legal compliance, fosters a strong safety culture, drives environmental stewardship, and leverages digital tools to enhance operational effectiveness.

What you'll be doing

Environment

  • Ensure full compliance with Thai laws on environmental protection (e.g., Factory Act, hazardous waste, wastewater treatment, air emissions).
  • Manage and oversee the operations of the wastewater treatment system, hazardous waste storage and disposal, and precious metal reclaim processes.
  • Prepare and submit required environmental reports (e.g., hazardous substances (วอ./ร.ง.), PRTR, environmental performance, carbon footprint) in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate and mitigate the environmental impact of new processes before implementation.

Occupational Health & Safety

  • Develop and deliver safety training programs covering topics such as confined space, chemical handling, forklifts, lockout/tagout, and emergency procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents; identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Health Service Providers to promote workplace health and wellness programs.
  • Conduct regular workplace assessments for noise, heat, light, and air quality per Thai law.

System & Compliance Management

  • Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems to ensure ongoing certification and compliance.
  • Lead the Emergency Response Team (ERT); plan and execute drills and preparedness activities annually.
  • Liaise with government agencies (e.g., DIW, Ministry of Public Health, Environment Office) and prepare relevant documentation.
  • Support audits by corporate EHS teams and follow through on corrective action plans.

Technology & Innovation

  • Leverage digital tools (e.g., mobile safety inspections, digital permit-to-work, EHS dashboards) to enhance safety performance tracking and response times.
  • Promote a data-driven safety culture using near-miss reporting, behavior-based safety observations, and risk modeling.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous team leadership or supervisory experience in EHS is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai regulatory requirements (DIW, labor law, EIA, hazardous substances).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and capable of using EHS-related platforms or dashboards.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.

About the role – You will:


• Formulate strategies and procedures for Environment Health and Safety (EHS) to enhance the working environment and uphold workplace safety and government compliance


• EHS Management System: Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company's EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, RBA, TLS to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and other stakeholder requirements


• Risk Management: Lead risk assessment processes,identify potential hazards across all operations, and implement the hierarchy of controls to eliminate or mitigate risks of incidents, injuries, and illnesses


• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure full compliance with Thai occupational health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations. Conduct regular internal audits, inspections, and site walks; prepare for and manage external audits and regulatory visits


• Incident Management: Oversee incident investigation processes, ensuring root causes are identified and effective corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs) are implemented and tracked to prevent a recurrence. Maintain accurate incident records and report as required


• Employee Engagement & Training: Foster a strong safety culture through active consultation and collaboration with employees, representatives, and stakeholders. Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all levels of employees and contractors


• Empowerment & Intervention: Champion and manage programs that empower all personnel to stop work when unsafe conditions are perceived and to report hazards without fear of reprisal


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ergonomic solutions, promote wellness initiatives, and mitigate occupational health risks


• Environmental Management: Develop and oversee environmental programs focusing on pollution prevention, waste management, resource conservation, and sustainability initiatives, including considerations for climate change and biodiversity


• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, and coordinate drills and exercises to ensure preparedness


• Contractor Management: Ensure contractors and other third parties working on-site adhere to company EHS standards and procedures


• Reporting & Performance: Track, analyze, and report on key EHS performance indicators (KPIs). Publicly share best practices and performance where appropriate and engage with community initiatives


• Integration: Collaborate with other departments (Operations, Facility, Logistics, Lab, etc.) to integrate EHS considerations into all business practices, including the development of safe products and manufacturing processes


• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government agencies, local communities, and other external stakeholders on EHS matters

About you:

  • Good command of Thai and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills (TOEIC score of at least 595)
  • Licensed Safety Officer at the professional level
  • Hands-on experience in workplace safety and compliance programs, including

  • Contractor safety management (e.g., working at height, confined space entry, hot work, electrical work, LOTO, chemical handling, excavation)

  • EMSMS committee management

  • Behavior-Based Safety Program (BBS)
