Job Description:

• Ensuring that works on site are carried out according to the standards and the contract requirements.
• Instruct the contractor's foremen or supervisor when such requirements are not met
• The site engineer works under the Construction Manager's supervision, and for their related field
• Keep record of design, shop drawings and ensure that contractors are working with the latest approved design ("for construction")
• Supervise works – in particular material entering in the building - on a continuous basis, ensuring that construction is carried out in compliance with latest design and technical specifications
• Check works daily progress against the agreed time schedule and report to the construction manager
• Check quantities in case of discrepancies found with the BOQ.
• Day-to-day site coordination between contractors
• Ensure that site is kept constantly clean and safe, and that works are carried out in compliance with local safety regulations – report any incident to the PM team
• Carry out quality checks as per check-lists and hold record
• Control and review the contractor's own quality checks
• Make sure that recorded defects are timely made good
• Report any unforeseen event or design insufficiency to the PM team
• Participate in the preparation of the project management report
• Attend commissioning tests and carry out inspections prior to hand-over draft snagging lists
• Attend inspections by authorities
• Ensure that snagging and remedial works are carried out by contractors
• Other related tasks

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering
• Knowledge of LV/MV/HV, power supply, HV Test lab setup (including control room) will be considered as an asset is a plus
• Engineering license is required
• Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in Electrical engineering industry fields
• Experience in brownfield is a plus
• Understand the design and construction process
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good command of English both spoken and written
• Dynamic, good attitude, and willingness to progress within an organization
• Ability to work under pressure
• Computer literacy in MS Office and have knowledge of Management and engineering software such as AutoCAD

Job Responsibilities:

·    Managing, propelling the construction project to be completed according to the objective with quality, on time and budget, efficiency, safety, health and environment and satisfaction of related parties, including responsibility in accordance with the law and regulations.

·    Closely monitor and control construction performance, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progression.

·    Manage and supervise consultant and contractor relationships, ensuring performance meets contractual obligations and project objectives.

·    Address and resolve any issues that arise during construction in a timely manner.

·    Facilitate seamless collaboration within the project team, contractors, and with stakeholders to track progress, manage risks, and address site-specific challenges.

·    Develop and implement construction management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to enhance project efficiency and standardization.

·    Managing the resources to be highest benefit, efficiency, safety and good cooperation to achieve the same goal.

·    To be role model for team on situation leadership and able to coach team on technical and soft skills, ensuring capability development and knowledge transfer within the team.

Job Qualifications:

·    Master's degree in engineering, business administration or related fields.

·    Minimum 10 years' experience in site management, construction management or related fields, of which 5 years' experience in management level.

·    Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and construction in oil and gas, petrochemical, LNG facilities, power plant or a related field.

·    Strong knowledge of construction management, technical skills, methodology, materials, and regulations of terminal facilities, including storage tanks, pipelines, marine systems, and safety protocols.

·    Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

·    Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·    Good command in English (Minimum 600 TOEIC score).

·    Ability to travel/ work upcountry and abroad.

·    The workplace is in Rayong.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure they align with the project plan and quality standards.

• Interpret and review structural, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings.

• Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors, consultants, and other relevant parties.

• Resolve on-site issues and handle unexpected problems.

• Prepare progress reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).

• Monitor and control project budget and material usage.

• Ensure all on-site work adheres to safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Por Wor Sor.

• Proven experience in a construction oil & gas at least 2 years will special consideration

• Proficient in reading and understanding construction drawings (Structural, Architectural, MEP).

• Deep understanding of the entire construction process.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage on-site operations.

• Exceptional communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to prepare detailed progress reports.

• Knowledge of construction safety standards.

• Experience in budget and cost control.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Site Manager to join our team at System Logistics Asia Co., Ltd. in Bangkok. As a contract position, this role will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of our logistics facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. You will play a crucial part in supporting our Mechanical and Electrical Engineering objectives and contributing to the overall success of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the site and manpower during installation, test, troubleshooting, commissioning, ramp-up and acceptance phases of our automatic system.
• Issue daily and weekly progress and report to the management and team.
• Coordinate with customer for all concerning the activities. Execute daily meeting foe the proper monitoring
• Ensure the completion date of the project in full and on time.
• Analyze the schedule for possible improvement and optimization. Promptly report to Project Manager potential delay.
• Lead and coordinate local contractor teams and technicians. Assign jobs and control the execution on daily basis
• Supervise machine test and controls during installation, commissioning and start up phases.
• Guarantee the execution of the activities with maximum quality level
• Verify the system layout, equipment drawings and documents. Report to Project Manager eventual mistakes and mismatching with actual materials delivered and actual situation at site
• Attention to environmental issue and safety precaution to apply during all processes

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a site management or similar role, preferably in the logistics or manufacturing industry
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering principles, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
• Proficient in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, machine layouts, and manuals, with hands-on experience working with inverters, electric motors, sensors, photocells, and 400/230V electrical cabinets.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of technicians and engineers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools for facility management and data analysis
• Fluency in both English and Thai is preferred.
• Availability to travel extensively
• Basic knowledge of PLC Siemens and SEW Inverters are a plus.
