**Job Description**
1. Develop designs, verification and validation plans and reports, qualification plans, product specifications per OEM, Regulatory Authorities and Customer requirements.
2. Lead engineering projects according to the engineering process and in accordance with the program timeline by setting an engineering plan until technical solution implementation, including engineering budget and risks.
3. Manage resources (Engineers, Materials,.) to meet the engineering project plan defined.
4. Coordinate with Product Design Owner reviews and approvals of Design for all sustaining engineering activities.
5. Troubleshoot and solve design and integration issues on production lines and on the field.
6. Support manufacturing teams to optimize design, improve processes; reduce part count, Manufacturing costs, assembly error and other factors that affects cost, and quality including tools and equipment.
7. Support Customer, Supplier and internal teams to review design for reliability, manufacturability, localization.
8. Drive design changes by managing Engineering Change Request and Drawing Change Notices and maintain design control by using company's PLM and processes.
9. Maintain state-of-art knowledge in design practices, material, component, and software tools by contributing to lessons learnt database and DFMEA
10. Contribute to Material Review Board and create non-conforming report accordingly.
**Job Requirements**
1. Education not below Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Engineering or equivalent.
2. Confirmed Experience with Design standards, CAD software and Drawing creation/modification.
3. Good mechanical knowledge, electronic appliances knowledge.
4. Experience in project management.
5. Good negotiation and presentation skill
6. Proficient English, both oral and written skills required.

1. Identify and align projects goals and scope with PJM and PM, and breakdown tasks of tooling/process developments and qualification
2. Make/align tooling development and qualification timeline, assign tasks to Ops team include tooling development, materials purchase
3. Track and manage core team to execute project progress based on committed project schedule
Project Cost
1. Lead Ops to simulate sample cost and production cost to achieve project landing zone target, lead Ops to optimize launch cost to the best
2. Budget and control scrap cost though leverage design and manufacturing process to meet project target during NPI phase
Project Execution
1. Guide capacity planning, materials sourcing and manpower to support all builds in the plant.
2. Oversee the progression of tooling/process development, identify bottleneck and issues, organize Ops team to improve those bottleneck and issues.
3. Oversee risks assessment in project execution, stay interlock with PJM to make multination plan and conduct the planned activities in Ops.
4. Finalize the Safe Launch plan for the appropriate mix of product, tool capability and demand with the approval of the PjM, Quality, MDPE, and PjE. a. Lead Safe Launch team meetings to assure successful HVM startup and manufacturing process qualification for attainment of required metrics for successful G5 handoff.
5. Align the budget with Ops team with the tooling list provided by MPDE-A, control total capital spending against CER.
6. Lead and coordinate line setup to conduct LVM sample builds and coordinate HVM tool builds.
7. Lead Ops to make ramp up plan, include materials, operations and tool capacity ramp up, ensure manufacture team take over production control smoothly after G5.
Product Sustaining
1. Product migration, as a receiving or sending leader to execute product move in or move out, including project timeline, investment, cost control, machine/material/manpower preparation, safety stock, safe launch, etc.
2. Lead product capacity analysis and expand it through re-investment per estimation.

Representative of Ops to align the project target (Capital, cost, timeline, capacity) with PM/PJM, lead Ops team to insure successful execution of project plan and meet project targets. PJE should have proper leadership on project planning and control, high skills of coordination and communications, proper knowledge of marketing of TE business, proper knowledge of manufacture process and costing and capacities analysis and resource balance.

**Responsibilities:**
Project Timeline
1. Identify and align projects goals and scope with PJM and PM, and breakdown tasks of tooling/process developments and qualification
2. Make/align tooling development and qualification timeline, assign tasks to Ops team include tooling development, materials purchase
3. Track and manage core team to execute project progress based on committed project schedule
Project Cost
1. Lead Ops to simulate sample cost and production cost to achieve project landing zone target, lead Ops to optimize launch cost to the best
2. Budget and control scrap cost though leverage design and manufacturing process to meet project target during NPI phase
Project Execution
1. Guide capacity planning, materials sourcing and manpower to support all builds in the plant.
2. Oversee the progression of tooling/process development, identify bottleneck and issues, organize Ops team to improve those bottleneck and issues.
3. Oversee risks assessment in project execution, stay interlock with PJM to make multination plan and conduct the planned activities in Ops.
4. Finalize the Safe Launch plan for the appropriate mix of product, tool capability and demand with the approval of the PjM, Quality, MDPE, and PjE. a. Lead Safe Launch team meetings to assure successful HVM startup and manufacturing process qualification for attainment of required metrics for successful G5 handoff.
5. Align the budget with Ops team with the tooling list provided by MPDE-A, control total capital spending against CER.
6. Lead and coordinate line setup to conduct LVM sample builds and coordinate HVM tool builds.
7. Lead Ops to make ramp up plan, include materials, operations and tool capacity ramp up, ensure manufacture team take over production control smoothly after G5.
Product Sustaining
1. Product migration, as a receiving or sending leader to execute product move in or move out, including project timeline, investment, cost control, machine/material/manpower preparation, safety stock, safe launch, etc.
2. Lead product capacity analysis and expand it through re-investment per estimation.
**What your background should look like**
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor degree, engineering background is better
2. PMP certification preferred
3. At least 5 years related working experience in project management, 1~2 years experience in connector/cable/cable assembly is better
4. Fluent oral and written/reading in English

**Job Overview**
TE Connectivity's Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Direct new project development activities from definition phase to mass production phase to achieve cost and product launch targets. Coordination of problems solving and recommendations with appropriate engineering and manufacturing groups, marketing personnel, or CTL or PM. Mainly to organize the project from G3-G6 refer to Product Portfolio Lifecycle Management procedure.
+ Possesses and applies directly or through leadership of personnel, comprehensive knowledge of Engineering Practices and Procedures, including extensive understanding of manufacturing technologies such as stamping, plating, molding, and assembly processes.
+ Take on program management responsibilities for localization and product transfer of products into the plant from affiliate companies.
+ Involve establishing project plan and co-ordinate data input in TE projects & APQP and track progress to ensure project targets and datelines are met.
+ Prepare business case justification on technical capability, production capacity requirement, tooling and equipment investment requirement.
+ Prepare master schedule plan for pre-production/ Run @ Rate and mass production tool up and follow up till successful completion. Ensure projects are completed according to project milestone and plans.
+ Co-ordinate and follow-up on machine, mold and dies tool-up from sample making for customer qualification and approval, to mass production capability status.
+ Resolve all issues related to the project will team members and suppliers.
+ Maintains current knowledge of relevant new technologies, materials, equipment, industry and market trends, and competitive products through literature, seminars, courses, etc. Applies this knowledge to determine needs and opportunities to develop new products or improve existing products.
+ Supports IATF16949 quality programs as well as ISO14000 environmental programs. Provides and allocates resources for their successful implementation.
+ Ensure overall plan and day to day activities of project management is in line with TE corporate policies.
+ Support project Kaizen, IE-task and any assignment from direct Supervisor/ Manager.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ 5-10 years working experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ 3-5 years experience with project engineering & project management, preferrable in automotive industry.
+ Working knowledge of project management tools, QA tools, SAP, APQP, PPAP, PPMEA, VDA 6.3 and IATF16949.
+ Leadership qualities with ability to work with all levels of staff within the organization and with suppliers.
+ Manage the project risk and action with cross functional team, strong understanding of how to deliver a systematically robust quality outcome.
+ Manage on implementation of tooling, equipment, material flow, layout and work instruction to production.
+ Knowledge of project development costs are controlled and manage for profitability.
+ Process improvement, IE-technical, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing
