Role Summary:
This position will be responsible for managing customer orders from entry through delivery while ensuring alignment with production and inventory strategies. This role is critical to integrating demand planning with supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will maintain a balance between customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and inventory control while driving effective communication between various teams to ensure smooth workflows and on-time deliveries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order Management:

  • Accurately input and process customer orders, ensuring compliance with lead times, inventory levels, and production capabilities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer order status updates, changes, or concerns.
  • Coordinate with customer service, sales, and logistics teams to resolve order-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure clear communication regarding delivery timelines, potential delays, or changes to orders.
  • Manage customer expectations by providing proactive updates on order fulfillment status.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all orders meet internal quality and compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer orders, invoices, and delivery documentation.

Master Planning:
Demand and Supply Planning:

  • Develop and maintain a master production schedule (MPS) that aligns with forecasted demand, sales orders, and inventory levels.
  • Work with the forecasting team to ensure that demand signals are translated into actionable production plans.
  • Adjust production schedules as necessary to meet changing customer demand or supply chain disruptions.

Capacity Planning:

  • Evaluate production capacity and work closely with the operations team to ensure adequate resources (labor, materials, equipment) are available to meet demand.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks in production and proactively develop solutions to avoid delays.

Inventory Optimization:

  • Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand without overstocking or understocking.
  • Utilize data-driven analysis to continuously improve planning accuracy and reduce excess inventory or stockouts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Supply Chain Integration:

  • Collaborate with the procurement, logistics, and production teams to align the master plan with material availability and lead times.
  • Ensure seamless communication between supply chain, operations, and order management functions to enhance overall efficiency and on-time delivery performance.

Operations Collaboration:

  • Work with operations managers to ensure that production schedules align with operational goals, capacity constraints, and equipment availability.
  • Develop close working relationships with shop floor teams to monitor progress against the master plan and adjust production schedules in real-time as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify areas for improvement in both the order management and planning processes, recommending and implementing changes to streamline operations and improve service levels.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall supply chain performance.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Use data analytics to drive decision-making and propose solutions to improve planning accuracy and order fulfillment rates.

QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in order management, production planning, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing and distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively using English language skill in a technical level.
  • Familiarity with demand planning and scheduling software processes and logics.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, including inventory management, production planning, procurement, and logistics.
  • APICS or similar supply chain certification (CPIM, CSCP) is advantageous.

**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Leads Order management team in AKA zones to ensure predictable Order Execution Process in collaboration with Sales, Modality, HPM, Service and Finance. This includes:
+ Leading Regional Backlog Management & order Execution to Drive Equipment Delivery and Sales Transfers.
+ Contribute to revenue linearity by date management, timely execution, and risk mitigation for fulfillment in coordination with S&OP and global fulfilment teams.
+ Drive COSD (Customer On-Site Date) Stability and Quality of delivery to Customers.
+ Inventory Management and Obso / reserve management
+ Drive Standard Work and deliver performance on KPI's through Daily Management system (DMS) related to Order Management
+ Act as single Interface to International OM Organization, Modalities, Sales, HPM and Finance for matters related to orders execution and fulfillment.
+ Implementation of global programs related to Order operations in AKA in collaboration with International OM Team.
+ Coordination with Logistics, shipping teams in Mfg & warehouses to ensure timely delivery of equipment to customers as per the orders in accordance with relevant Rules & Regulations.
+ Coordination with Logistics & sourcing teams to deliver cost productivity
+ Ensure adherence to revenue recognition norms and ensure proper documentation.
+ Drive Lean/Simplification projects to improve process effectiveness and efficiency
Quality Specific Goals:
+ Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int'l Law is broken.
+ Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int'l Law is broken.

Job Description

To handle general inquiries.

To communicate with oversea by email/telephone.

To prepare and submit shipping particular to ocean carriers and to check vendors' shipping documents.

To prepare and release forwarder's cargo receipts to vendors.

To input data and transmit container manifest to consignees.

To prepare Delay Document Demand Notice (DDDN) to vendors and consignees when document is late.

To prepare vendors' invoices and Summary Remittance Sheet (SRS).

To arrange computer fax of forwarder's cargo receipts and invoices.

To dispatch shipping documents to consignees and brokers in accordance with consolidation procedures.

10.    To handle documentation requirements for individual consignees in accordance with consolidation procedures.

To take up additional assignments as required to meet with the Company needs.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 1 year experience in forwarding or carrier industry required.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Excellent customer service skills

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Chinese speaking is preferrable.

Be a good team player and effectively communicate to obtain positive results
