Job Summary:

The Equipment Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production and utility equipment. This role ensures that all equipment operates efficiently and complies with safety and quality standards. The engineer also plays a key role in preventive maintenance planning, equipment upgrades, and support for production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment breakdowns or malfunctions.
• Support and coordinate preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) activities.
• Work closely with the maintenance team and production staff to minimize downtime.

2. Equipment Installation & Setup

• Plan and supervise the installation and commissioning of new machinery or production lines.
• Review and validate equipment layout, utility connections, and safety features.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for technical specifications and installation activities.

3. Performance Monitoring & Improvement

• Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and propose improvements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, Kaizen, or Lean.
• Upgrade or modify equipment to improve performance, reduce costs, or meet new process requirements.

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain and update equipment documentation including manuals, SOPs, calibration records, PM schedules, etc.
• Ensure equipment meets quality, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
• Prepare reports on downtime, maintenance KPIs, and cost analysis.

5. Spare Parts & Asset Management

• Define critical spare parts and manage inventory levels.
• Support asset tracking, equipment lifecycle planning, and replacement strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineer or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, Robot, Electro planting, Hydraulics, Pneumatic system of Electronics company or PCB or similar roles in a manufacturing.
• Familiar with PLC, automation systems, mechanical/electrical systems, and safety standards.
• Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or ERP systems is a plus.

Maintenance Technician (Facility) of Mitsuwa Chemical (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. – Phanthong, Chonburi

It can be engaged in all Injection section.

The Company has business operation in three factories located in Japan, Philippines and Thailand.

We manufacture primarily plastic products for automotive industry, which specializes on car navigation systems, car audio, switch knobs for steering wheels. The process starts from development, mold making, molding, and secondary processes like painting, printing, laser marking and assembly.

In addition, we are actively pursuing the production of transparent/clear plastic parts, injection molding in clean room environment and molding thermosetting resin to fit maturation and generalization of healthcare-related industries.

1. งานบารุงรักษาและซ่อมแซมเครื่องจักรภายในโรงงาน และงานซ่อมระบบสาธารณูปโภค

( Preventive and corrective maintenance job , and all facility system in Factory )

1. Preventive Maintenance งานตรวจเช็คและบารุงรักษาเครื่องจักรตามแผนงานซ่อมบารุง ที่ได้มีการวางแผนใว้ หรืองานที่ได้รับมอบหมายจากหัวหน้างาน

2. Corrective Maintenance งานแก้ไขปัญหาเครื่องจักรที่เกิดการเสียให้สามารถกลับมาเดินเครื่องใช้งานได้ตามปกติ

3. Facility and utilities งานตรวจเช็คและซ่อมแซมระบบสาธารณูปโภคต่าง ๆ ภายในโรงงาน

4. งานสนับสนุนกระบวนการผลิต (functional support job to production process)

5. ดำเนินการแก้ไขเครื่องจักรตามที่มีการร้องขอจากส่วนงานฝ่ายผลิต เพื่อให้เครื่องจักรสามารถใช้งานได้ตามปกติ และเกิดความปลอดภัย

6. งานระบบไฟฟ้า , ระบบปั๊มอัดลม (Air compressor) , ระบบน้ำปะปา ( Water system), ระบบอุปกรณ์ฉุกเฉินทั้งหมด, เครื่องสูบน้ำดับเพลิง (Fire pump)

7. ตรวจเช็ค/ซ่อมบำรุงเครื่องปรับอากาศ และประสานงานกับไดกิ้น (Checking /maintaining AC and contact wist Daikin)
