RESEARCH ANALYST
Position: RESEARCH ANALYST
**Responsibilities**:
Research, analysis and reporting on Small Cap Stocks and/or other industry groups. Monitor and interpret important information in the daily news flow, preparing updates and memos for internal and external distribution. Perform, publish, and market fundamental industry research and stock ideas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Economics, Finance and Banking, or related field
- 2-4 years of financial research experience
- Proven ability to research, analyze, and create reports to support senior analysts, equity sales, and external clients
- Strong modeling and valuation skills; ability to work with and update large data sets, models and files; solid understanding of accounting and financial statements analysis
- Understanding of capital markets, stock markets, as well as an interest in stocks
- Ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication skills both in written and oral in English are essential
License Preferred:
- Investment Analyst (IA)
- CISA, CFP

Asia Diligence is a private commercial investigations company. Founded in 2010, our primary operations base is in Thailand and we have offices in Hong Kong and the UK. We specialize in investigative due diligence, background checks and bespoke investigations on commercial entities and business people. We have undertaken thousands of investigations in well over 100 countries globally involving business intelligence, criminal investigations, employee vetting, asset searches and pre-transactional due diligence, and have developed a leading reputation for the quality and comprehensiveness of our reports. As part of all of our investigations, we undertake in-depth and focused online research and we are looking to add to our research team.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
A good researcher should have a high level of focus, analytical skills, curiosity and intuition. The researcher will use online research techniques on a broad range of professional and official databases as well as the wider internet. They should be able to quickly assimilate and analyse media resources for relevance, and extract references with information relevant to an investigation. The extracted information will be presented in a pre-prepared template and any red flags or areas of concern should be highlighted. Non-English language references will need to be translated to English and a brief summary of all of the findings also provided. Researchers will also search out key websites and databases that will provide additional assistance to future investigations.
**Requirements**:
- Fluent Thai language Skills;
- Fluent English language Skills;
- Bachelor Degree ideally in English Literature, Journalism, Law (Degree from an overseas University is desirable) - practical experience will be considered in lieu of academic qualifications;
- Ability to read and write in a third language would be beneficial;
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of conscientiousness;
- THAI CITIZEN (however locally married foreigners will be considered)

To support SAP’s vision and growth, the Government Affairs group in SAP proactively engages with Governments across the globe to facilitate a continuous interaction and collaboration on policy, regulatory and partnership ecosystems. The Government Affairs is a part of the ‘Marketing and Solutions’ board area of SAP. The group follows a three-pillar approach covering:

**The Position**
The intern will report to the Head of Government Affairs for SAP APJ and work on research and engagements around digital policies, programs and projects. The position will be based out of Singapore or any other location as required.
The position provides an opportunity to engage with internal and external stakeholders including policy makers, industry associations, academia and think tanks.
- Public Policy_
- Support the engagements on policy issues with Governments across APJ
- Participate in consultative groups on policy issues.
- Carry out research on global practices around policies in the technology domain.
- Work with IT industry associations and international chambers on larger IT industry and regulatory issues
- Participate in preparation of policy papers, response to policy statements, point of views on key policies including IT, taxation, trade and IPR etc.
- Work with internal teams to support any specific requirements.
- Support the monitoring, evaluation and planning of policy engagements for SAP in APJ.
- Participate in Internal enablement of business teams on policy developments, as and when called for.
- Thought Leadership_
- Work on SAP executive connects with senior Government leadership
- Support content creation for thought leadership engagements.
