We are looking for FA Engineer (Failure Analysis Engineer) for the Power Electronics plant

• Analysis of defect units returned from customer / contact manufacturing / factory or marketing field
• Determine and set up test equipment and test fixture for repair/analysis.
• Provide and set up test equipment and fixture for repairing include special request from customer or factory.
• Review all test equipment to be in accordance with the calibration requirement.
• Keep records of all failure analysis activities.
• Conduct other FA tasks requested by QA or customers.
• Generate the Analysis Report per customer or internal factory required.
• Work with factory to find out the root cause, corrective and prevention actions and try to reduplicate the failure symptoms.
• Conduct screening, FA and rework activities at customer sites if necessary.
• Must be familiar with all operating policies and Work Instructions for FA/QA

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineer, or related field from a recognized university.
• Working experiences in related functions 2-3 years or above
• At least 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment
• Has Failure analysis skills and Electrical circuit knowledge
• Good in English communication skill

Description:

• Plan & coordinate for electrical Preventive maintenance activities of Transformer, Motors, Inverters, PCC, MCC in responsible area to maximize the equipment's availability to achieve production as per targets.
• Troubleshooting knowledge of Motor Starter, Inverters, VCB & Air circuit Breaker, PCC & MCC. PLC.
• Take plant rounds and review daily Electrical performance of responsible area.
• Identify & get rectified. – Abnormalities, Unsafe conditions/practices.  5S activities in responsible areas.
• Plan and arrange resources.  Organize effective manpower utilization of Electrical section.
• Implement safe work practices during Electrical Work.

Qualification:

Electrical Engineering (EV Charger Station)

Position Summary

The Electrical Engineer (EV Charger Station) will support the full lifecycle of EV charging station projects — from site survey, installation, and commissioning to preventive and corrective maintenance. This role is suitable for both experienced engineers and fresh graduates who are eager to learn and grow in the EV infrastructure industry. The position involves collaboration with design teams, suppliers, and project managers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality charging station deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections after EV charger installation to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Assist in managing stock and equipment for charging station setup.
• Perform feasibility assessments and site surveys for new charging station locations.
• Coordinate and communicate with suppliers on technical requirements and project progress.
• Support the Design Team by reviewing electrical and structural drawings.
• Participate in planning and executing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) with suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (site survey reports, installation records, commissioning data, etc.).
• Verify electrical drawings and layouts to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support troubleshooting and site inspections in cases of station malfunction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of electrical design, safety standards, and power distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with EV charging systems or renewable energy is a plus (training will be provided).
