Job Description

**Thermal Supplier Process Engineer**
When you're creating technology that drives human progress, everything needs to be spot on. Our Supplier Process Engineering team works with our suppliers to enable them to produce materials and components of the highest quality. Working closely with our product developers, we select and monitor vendors and suppliers who can meet our high engineering and quality standards. In addition, we perform regular auditing and undertake design and development engineering assignments to develop new products or update existing products. We're also experts in establishing systems and procedures to enhance overall quality.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Thermal Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer** to join our global quality and engineering team. Based in Thailand, you will play a critical dual role in both thermal performance design validation and supplier quality management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure that thermal solutions meet stringent product and reliability requirements while maintaining high supplier quality standards.

As a member of the Supplier Quality Engineering, you will be responsible for new Tech development, supplier quality management to hit quality metrics and sustain COS(Continuity of Supply). This job requires strong process knowledge, rich practical experience, excellent communication, influencing skills and project management skills.
**What you'll achieve**
As a Thermal Supplier Process Engineer, you will be responsible for supplier quality management to hit quality metrics and sustain Continuity of Supply.
**You will:**
**Thermal Engineering (Approx. 50%)**
+ Participate in the thermal design review and validation process for electronics cooling (e.g., heat sinks, vapor chambers, fans, TIMs). Assist and participate in thermal simulation and modeling efforts (e.g., using FloTHERM, Icepak, or ANSYS) to support product development and supplier proposals. Collaborate with R&D, mechanical design, and systems teams to optimize thermal solutions from concept to mass production. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions related to thermal performance issues during EVT/DVT/PVT. Support thermal lab test setups, thermal measurements, and correlation analysis with simulation models.
**Supplier Quality Engineering (Approx. 50%)**
+ Manage thermal component suppliers (e.g., liquid cooling, cold plate, heat sink, heat pipe, thermal interface materials) to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with company specifications. Develop and implement supplier quality strategies including APQP, PPAP, and FAI for new product introduction. Conduct on-site supplier audits (process, quality system, and manufacturing capability assessments). Lead 8D/5Why/FMEA activities for supplier-related quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Work with suppliers to improve manufacturing process capability and reduce variability (e.g., Cp/Cpk, SPC). Act as the main technical interface between suppliers and internal teams for thermal and mechanical parts.

**Essential Requirements**
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in thermal engineering, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering in the electronics or hardware industry. Deep knowledge of thermal management technologies in electronics (e.g., fan systems, heat exchangers, cold plates, TIMs).
+ Familiar with supplier quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
+ Hands-on experience with thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Icepak, FloTHERM). Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes for thermal components (extrusion, CNC, brazing, stamping, etc.).
+ Experience working with tier-1 suppliers in Taiwan and China. Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally (~20-30%).
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in Mandarin and English.
**Preferred Requirements**
+ Experience in consumer electronics, data centers, or automotive electronics. Experience with product lifecycle from design to ramp.
+ Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt). Familiarity with global quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001).

The Product Engineer will collaborate closely with the design engineering team on new product introduction, and with key suppliers and contract manufacturers on sustaining engineering and cost reduction, to expedite time to market and revenue ramp of high bit rate optical coherent transponders.
Key Essential Functions:
1)Lead the yield improvement, drive product, process, quality improvements.
2)Lead the product debug and RMA activities and drive related action to closure.
3)Support cost modelling and lead cost reduction activities with cross function team.
4)Perform and coordinate DFX activities with design, test and process engineering teams.

**Job Summary**

Job Summary
This position is a dynamic role that spans the full lifecycle of facilities management and multi discipline Enterprise Accounts. The role will be instrumental in developing client bid solutions, managing the transition in (including due diligence) and out processes, and provide guidance and oversight of operational excellence for the delivery of operations of Enterprise Accounts operating in Thailand. It is expected that this role will work in close cooperation with the country's Sr. Operations & Performance Manager, APAC Sales & Solutions Team, APAC transition team, country platform team and BTO team.
**Key Responsibilities**
Engineering & Operational Excellence
+ Support and provide guidance/suggestion on facilities and engineering operations to Site Leads.
+ Communicate and oversee implementation of best practice operational solutions across all enterprise accounts operating in Thailand
+ Be the champion for operational excellence initiatives
+ Conduct and assist with site inspections and surveys, including audits and system performance analysis of mechanical, electrical, and building system components, environmental and accessibility compliance for new bids and during new account set up
+ Optimise Segment Operating Profits across all accounts using business acumen and critical thinking and document initiatives in Value Tracker.
Bid, Transition and Operate
+ Develop commercially competitive and operationally sustainable client solutions for new business and client expansions. Have a clear focus on desired outcome and strike the balance between a competitive bid and one that is operationally viable
+ Work collaboratively with the Regional client solutions team to achieve bid deadlines, cohesive and consistent regional solutions, and continuously improve tender processes
+ Bring operational experience to the bid stage, be clear on the intent, validate Sales & Solution Team's work / challenge where necessary
+ Coordinate inputs from internal business leaders to develop price certain tender responses and build a database of reliable pricing benchmarks for use in bids and for assessment of existing client spend rates
+ Collaborate with the Regional transition team to effectively mobilise and demobilise accounts that achieve positive results for clients and CBRE alike
+ As part of the transition in process, be responsible for the due diligence process and identify and mitigate gaps between Bid's Solution and Actual (based on completed DD) show how gaps can be bridged including cost and risk, lead on any operation solution changes
+ Lead the client facing transition team throughout transition processes and manage the internal and client facing reporting requirements in line with regional processes and procedures
+ Be the umbrella and coordinate inputs from local and regional SME's to achieve budget and timeframe imperatives for all client transitions; including but not limited to QHSE, People, Procurement, FM Operations, Technical Services, Talent Acquisition, Finance, D&T, and CBRE relationship manager/s
+ Maintain alignment with Commercial, Sales & Operation team during Transition
+ Lead final handover from BTO to Account team, highlighting opportunities for growth / risks - all lines of business
+ Work with Account Team on operational stabilization activities within T+30 and T+60

**Qualifications:**
+ Master or bachelor's degree from college or university and a minimum of 5 years of experience/or training and industry knowledge in engineering, electrical, facilities management, building services and projects.
+ Universal CFC certification.
+ Certification / license in two or more of the following is desired, and certain certifications may be required by local / state jurisdiction: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, boiler, plumbing, etc.
+ Knowledge and understanding of all applicable statutory practices and techniques, laws, project controls and environmental regulations to include safety regulations.
+ Proficiency in program management and M&E/systems engineering with strong attention to detailIn-depth knowledge in industrial/commercial heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation systems as well as system automation controls.
+ Knowledge and understanding of asset maintenance CMMS systems i.e., Maximo, FaciliWorks, Service Insights, or equivalent software.
