**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Responsible for understanding and implementing the customers technical roadmap and related process development projects.
+ Lead and implement the development and release of the full manufacturing process for new customer products.
+ Understand and provide feedback on customers technical requirements to team members and management
+ Responsible for developing and implementing costed and optimized feedback using Design for manufacturability (DFX) tools and processes, with the goal of reducing manufacturing cost and improving quality and reliability of product.
+ Develop, plan and lead the assessment of the capability of process applications using Design of Experiments.
+ Devise process controls and data collection strategies and evaluate complex data to assist with reporting yield, reliability and diagnoses to root causes failures impacting product quality.
+ Ensure accurate and timely communication to management on critical technical and business issues.
+ Set yearly plans and goals for the department and give direction on expected performance and provide regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback. Accountable for all department objectives and achieving agreed targets for key performance indicators.
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**
+ **Project Management** - Ability to manage/lead complex, multiple line engineering projects that may also involve other functions. Demonstrate solid understanding of the technical, financial and people aspects of the project. Able to create a project/change management plan and ensure that the project is delivered within the assigned time and budget. Ability to recognize project barriers and develop mitigation plans
+ **Leadership** - Demonstrate "People & Team Leadership Behaviors" as per Celestica Leadership Imperatives.
+ **Financial Acumen / Business Planning** - Ability to create financial plans for your projects, align them internally with your line of management and other functions and externally if needed. Create project plans, profitability calculations, risk and sensitivity analysis, able to recognize barriers and mitigate profitability risks. Fully knowledgeable about internal and external financial reporting, accounting and tax requirements relevant to your area of expertise.

+ Develop the scope of all technical work, coordinate the team, direct work assignments and assist with problem resolution for the full customer product life cycle support for all manufacturing technical issues related to the customer's product(s) from product conception to product obsolescence.
+ Evaluate potential manufacturing impact for each design concept.
+ Responsible for the best practice standard development, participate in Industry organizations for developing the standards and provide training and application support globally.
+ Set yearly plans and goals for their department and give direction on expected performance and provide regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback. Accountable for all department objectives and achieving agreed targets for key performance indicators.
+ Defines process problems that lead to throughput or quality issues, evaluates cause of problem, implements solutions to stabilize processes, evaluates results.
+ Acts as the focal point for all product-related technical issues.

+ Maintain current processes and procedures in accordance with ISO/IATF16949 requirement

+ Clarify manufacturing requirements with customers and suppliers.
+ Update and maintain Master Data relevant to Connector Product&Process in the ERP system & in quality system ea. Drawings, ECR, ECN etc.
+ Create and register manufacturing documentation according to the customer and QMS requirements such as FMEA, Assembly/Operation WI, Set-up WI etc.
+ Validate manufacturing lines according to the capability requirements (Cmk, Ppk).
+ Design and implement new fixtures to improve operator ergonomics, quality, or performance, including go/no-go quality gages in LEAN concept
+ Establish quality control guidelines for the production process
+ Develop and maintain process training and certification documentation to ensure that operators clearly understand all position requirements.
+ Contribute to, support and lead continuous process improvement activities
+ Develop in routines and best practices to ensure production efficiency and product quality.
+ Analyze current production procedures and standards to identify inefficiencies.
+ Optimize productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures.
+ Provide thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
+ Serve as a bridge between Production and Tool Shop in the implementation of new processes and in the designing of new or modifying jigs and fixtures
+ Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operation
+ Supervise and lead Manufacturing Technicians/Machine Setters in their duties
+ Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing system while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers
+ Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
+ Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems, advise on corrective-, preventive actions & develop innovative solutions
+ Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions
+ Coordinate closely with other colleagues in ERNI group for product/project transferring, sales or quality issues
+ Prepare samples for study
+ Undertake continuous training and development
+ Undertake special projects as required ea. APQP project management
+ Daily engineering & manufacturing activities

+ Recipe Management: Inserting of recipes into equipment, maintaining and optimization of recipes, documenting of recipes
+ Creation of process related documentation, performance reports, book of requirements, guidelines, work instruction, process speciation
+ Process implementation and release according specifications and development of standard operating procedures
+ Cascades and implements standards and requirements to department processes
+ Participates in external and internal audits, develops and implements improvement plans
+ Follow up quality KPIs and enables corrective and improvement actions
+ Ensures Productivity - Implement processes that produce efficiently to the required output and to specification.

Based in Thailand, you will play a critical dual role in both thermal performance design validation and supplier quality management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure that thermal solutions meet stringent product and reliability requirements while maintaining high supplier quality standards.

**What you'll achieve**
As a Thermal Supplier Process Engineer, you will be responsible for supplier quality management to hit quality metrics and sustain Continuity of Supply.
**You will:**
**Thermal Engineering (Approx. 50%)**
+ Participate in the thermal design review and validation process for electronics cooling (e.g., heat sinks, vapor chambers, fans, TIMs). Assist and participate in thermal simulation and modeling efforts (e.g., using FloTHERM, Icepak, or ANSYS) to support product development and supplier proposals. Collaborate with R&D, mechanical design, and systems teams to optimize thermal solutions from concept to mass production. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions related to thermal performance issues during EVT/DVT/PVT. Support thermal lab test setups, thermal measurements, and correlation analysis with simulation models.
**Supplier Quality Engineering (Approx. 50%)**
+ Manage thermal component suppliers (e.g., liquid cooling, cold plate, heat sink, heat pipe, thermal interface materials) to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with company specifications. Develop and implement supplier quality strategies including APQP, PPAP, and FAI for new product introduction. Conduct on-site supplier audits (process, quality system, and manufacturing capability assessments). Lead 8D/5Why/FMEA activities for supplier-related quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Work with suppliers to improve manufacturing process capability and reduce variability (e.g., Cp/Cpk, SPC). Act as the main technical interface between suppliers and internal teams for thermal and mechanical parts.

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in thermal engineering, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering in the electronics or hardware industry. Deep knowledge of thermal management technologies in electronics (e.g., fan systems, heat exchangers, cold plates, TIMs).
+ Familiar with supplier quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
+ Hands-on experience with thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Icepak, FloTHERM). Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes for thermal components (extrusion, CNC, brazing, stamping, etc.).
+ Experience working with tier-1 suppliers in Taiwan and China. Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally (~20-30%).
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in Mandarin and English.
**Preferred Requirements**
+ Experience in consumer electronics, data centers, or automotive electronics. Experience with product lifecycle from design to ramp.
+ Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt). Familiarity with global quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001).
