Job Purpose
The Marketing Procurement Assistant Manager - Asia will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Ice Cream business globally in the Marketing spend area. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams within the organization, including Marketing global-regional level, CMI, R&D and Finance, to streamline marketing procurement processes, focusing on high-impact solutions. As the Ice Cream BG transitions to a stand-alone company, this position will reduce complexity and accelerate collaborative decision-making to drive strategies and impactful business models, frameworks to drive growth, future-fit capabilities.
The successful candidate will drive category value through negotiations, technical and analytical skills to move our ice cream business towards the highest level of innovation, design and commercialisation, while ensuring equipment is timely delivered to all the countries under your portfolio. This role demands a proactive approach in building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering efficient sourcing strategies that align with Ice Cream BG's business objectives. Regular engagement with the Global and Regional Leadership Team will ensure alignment and agility in the face of dynamic market needs.
Main Responsibilities:
+ > Agency Contract Negotiation: Make sure best in class commercials in place by considering business needs
+ Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with regional and local stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the Ice Cream business priorities and needs. Effectively manage expectations and streamline communication with Portfolio Leads and the senior stakeholders.
+ Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities. Ensure that procurement strategies contribute positively to financial and operational targets.
+ Portfolio Coordination: Work closely with BU Leads to ensure that regional execution aligns with the overarching global strategy. Define, adapt and implement procurement initiatives to maximize impact.
+ Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiency and optimization within the marketing sourcing process. Drive performance by reducing fragmentation, focusing on high-impact areas, and executing sustainable sourcing strategies.
+ Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing dynamics. Use this information to make informed procurement decisions.
+ Accountability for Results: Deliver on financial and operational KPIs, ensuring that procurement strategies contribute positively to business targets and Ice Cream's growth agenda.
+ Best Practices Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert for marketing procurement, bringing insights from BUs and sharing internal and external best practices across markets.
Experience & Qualification:
+ A minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, within at least 2 years in marketing procurement under managerial roles within FMCG industry.
+ Experience in managing complex marketing related portfolios across diverse categories,
+ Understanding of supply chain and value chain management in the context of E2E marketing eco-system, ideally globally.
+ Strong business acumen with the ability to balance long-term strategic thinking and short-term execution needs.
+ Willingness to travel 20% of the time.

+ For finished goods, perform root causes analysis of late deliveries in support of corrective actions needed to drive delivery improvement. Able to perform similar actions proactively for future demand. Drive stock fulfilment for preferred and standard parts.
+ Reduce Past dues, Manage Pull-ins and drive improvement actions
+ Review and manage monthly S&OP and MPS with critical supplier (Supplier STC, LT accuracy, PO review), finalize Report Out of Supply Review
+ Elevate supply issues to manager, work for resolution and execute the determined course of action.
+ Perform with minimal costs of premium freight to ship out finished products to meet customer requirements. Use of express shipments should be approved by Planning Manager in case of delays.
+ Highlight component delivery issues to Strategic Buyer to ensure components are available to support the delivery schedule, expediting / de-expediting as appropriate
+ Manage inventory levels in order to maximize inventory turns for FG and subcontracting components. Execute Scrap process.
+ Place Purchase Order following GIATP process.

**What You Will Do**

The Trimble Thailand Supply Chain Lead position has critical responsibility for ‘Supply against Demand’ with our Contract Manufacturing partner in Thailand. The role of Taiwan Supply Chain Manager serves as the primary interface between assigned Trimble Business Units and our Contract Manufacturing partner in Thailand. The scope includes identifying and understanding the Trimble Business Unit Demands and ensuring timely Supply, tracking and reporting performance Metrics, and supports resolving material or technical issues affecting on time delivery.

This is a highly visible position interfacing across multiple functional groups such as: Operations Directors, Master Schedulers/Planners, Trimble Program Management, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing & Commodity Management, Asset management and Finance/accounting both within Trimble and at our Contract Manufacture in Thailand. This position will report to the Operations Manager, Thailand.

**You’ll additionally be responsible for**:

- Collaborating with Business Unit master schedulers/planners to create Trimble’s monthly Build Plan for factory loading (Forecast).
- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of current execution of Supply against Demand and other factors affecting predictable supply; when affected must be able to quickly discover root cause(s), clearly communicate the issue with appropriate Trimble Business Unit and coordinate activities and resources (internal and Contract Manufacture to bring the problem to closure.
- Maintaining the timely flow of Warranty return (rejected) and Service Repair (Customer returns). Maintain visibility of material aging and turnaround time in the form of reportable periodic metrics.
- At all times maintaining contact with Contract Manufacture Program Management to ensure the on time delivery and continuous supply of Trimble products. Maintain communication of shipment status.
- Overseeing NPI Program Schedule and raw material acquisition plans to insure successful transition and ramp up for production release.
- Managing/publishing monthly performance metrics submitted by Contract Manufacture in Thailand.
- Achieve all Supply deliverables while minimizing OCOGS (expedite fees, air freight).
- Work closely with Contract Manufacture partner personnel to insure continuous On Time Delivery (OTD) of Supply against Demand.
- Ensure timely notification of factors preventing the continuous OTD of products; whether technical or material in nature.
- Report appropriately and continuously on weekly factory Delivery Outlook toward OTD.
- Weekly NPI Build Plan process - builds report, transmit report.
- NPI Build Plan Report.
- Manage NPI Sourcing validation and risk mitigation activities
- Manage the Returned Material Process with Trimble’s Contract Manufacture partner.
- Monitor and report on purchased assembly aging in all Oracle MRB and Customer Return (RMA) stocking locations post disposition and requiring return to Contract Manufacture partner.
- Process Subcontract Work Orders and other associated Oracle transactions for the processing of non-Warranty repairs and material upgrades, as required.
- Achieve stated turnaround targets while minimizing costs and avoiding any impact to ongoing production.
- Develop, monitor and maintain, as required, internal departmental BMS Procedures.
- Collaboration to gain consensus from other Trimble departments, as required.
- Develop, maintain and publish weekly internal departmental Metrics to include, as a minimum, the following:

- Past due Purchase Orders details; causes
- OTDs (on-time delivery)
- Accounts Payables Aging; causes.
- MRB/RMA Aging.

**What Skills & Experience and Qualifications You Should Bring**
- Demonstrable experience working in the electronics industry in an operations/manufacturing role,
- Fluent spoken, written and reading in English and Thai languages.
- Advanced Excel skills, MRP/ERP usage/knowledge, project management, knowledge of Procurement and Materials Management processes and techniques.
- Experience with early production involvement and NPI release to production
- Exhibits a sense of urgency in completing the assigned tasks, and driving teams.
- Excellent analytical skills, including some financial and cost analysis, use of complex spreadsheets and other tools.

**What Skills & Experience and Qualifications You Could Bring**
- Working knowledge of purchasing processes
- Excellent Program Management skills.
- Possess a solid understanding of Materials Management practices & manufacturing processes.
- Previous experience and a solid understanding of SMT and Box level manufacturing in Contract Manufacturing a plus.

Supply Chain Analyst role is responsible for Procurement events, identify strategy, negotiate for cost reduction, coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing, IE, planning and engineering departments on Indirect material procurement. Also develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive. Support on new onboarding supplier process on Ariba. Understand and follow Indirect Procurement Policy. Collaborative works with other departments such as Finance, Buyer, Logistic, warehouse team.

In this positon you will:
As a Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for:

- Support Procurement events. Understand and follow Indirect Procurement policy
- Initiate and negotiate for cost reduction.
- Supplier Performance Improvement based on TQRDC (Technology, Quality, Responsiveness, Delivery and Cost)
- Support Commodity Manager on assignment projects
- Review and Negotiate business term (quotation, price agreement, payment term, delivery, service and contract ) with suppliers.
- Able to support Contract negotiation with suppliers
- Provide and update the summary and report to manager
- Understanding and able to use Oracle, Ariba system. Able to lead on Ariba process.
- Collaborative works with manufacturing, IE, planning and engineer departments on Indirect material procurement.
- Collaborative works with Finance, Buyer, Logistic, Warehouse team related to Indirect procurement.
- Understanding of VMI concept, Cpk, 8D and MRP systems.

Required Qualifications:

- Experience with developing a sourcing plan is a plus.
- BS in Business or Engineering or related field, or demonstrated relevant working experience.
- Willing to Travel both International and Domestic approximately 10%.
- 6+ years Commodity Management experience.
- Experience with ERP, Oracle and Ariba is plus, VMI, Cpk, 8D, MRP Systems.
- knowledge and experience in the field of optical telecommunication industry is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strategic business process thinking, innovative, results oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate with internal and external customer and management.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure, to achieve requested timing and quality of assigned tasks.
