Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials and packaging, from sourcing to delivery.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers to ensure we have a reliable and cost-effective network.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable contracts.
- Issue and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Track and expedite orders to ensure materials are delivered on time to meet production schedules.
- Monitor and report on key metrics such as inventory levels, cost savings, and supplier performance.
- Resolve any issues with suppliers, including quality discrepancies or delivery delays.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Production, and Quality Control teams to ensure material specifications and needs are met.
- Assist the SCM Manager with various tasks and special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the cosmetics or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is a significant plus.
- Demonstrated experience in a high-volume purchasing environment, specifically with Bill of Materials (BOM) and a high number of SKUs.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain a professional, firm stance with suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English are a must.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Procurement Specialist has a wide range of responsibilities for the sourcing and delivery of equipment and materials. This includes managing the RFQ process, negotiations, expediting documentation, overseeing supplier adherence to contract commercial requirements and dispute resolution. This position will be in the Bangkok, Thailand office and will report to the Louisville, Kentucky, USA office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the Proposal/ Estimating teams with current market pricing and lead times through transmittal of RFQ's as required.
- Manage RFQ process for products and services. Lead evaluation of quotations, including resolution of commercial and technical exceptions to assure that technical, quality, delivery and price objectives are met. Ensure all commercial documents have been conformed / revised to final agreed set of terms and conditions prior to award. Communicate award to suppliers.
- Attend the kickoff/ pre-fabrication meeting with suppliers.
- Understand and track the scope of supply, delivery dates, technical requirements and shipping terms for each purchase order. Communicate information such as drawings, schedules, shipping information, and changes in scope (drawings, specifications and schedule changes).
- Communicate and resolve changes on scope, pricing, delivery or supplier capabilities with the Project Team.
- Frequently review status reports from the vendors and validate that the actual progress matches what is being reported.
- Support Quality Assurance/ Control initiatives and requests relating to supplier.
- Review the supplier's packing list to ensure that scope of supply is complete prior to shipment.
- Coordinate with Logistics Department for required shipping release.
- Assist Supply Management in locating and developing new suppliers and fabricators for materials and components.
- Make visits to potential suppliers to assess their capabilities.
- Attend/ oversee cargo loading at the Port.
- Maintain knowledge of current market conditions for commodities/products including monitoring supplier shop capacity.

Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following:
- A degree in BS in Business, purchasing, or related field from an accredited university.
- 10 years+ Energy or Oil and Gas Procurement experience or related experience can substitute for a degree.
- Fluent reading, writing and speaking in English language is required.
- Must have a valid passport as travel is required including possible international short-term assignments including the USA.
- Experience in managing subcontracts or other procurement related activities.
- Strong knowledge of commercial terms.
- Experience with quality process, fabrication and logistics.
- Knowledge of scheduling practices.
