**Main Responsibilities**
- Leading the production team to deliver finished products according to the production plan.
- Setting the department target to comply with the company mission.
- Managing the efforts of production staff to meet daily scheduled production targets with desired quality, and food safety standard.
- Achieving optimum employee levels with the least amount of overhead and raw material costs to meet the annual budgetary plan.
- Ensuring that the overall production process of the work environment is safe, clean, and organized. Comply with 5S, GHP/HACCP/BRC.
- Managing the reports, and operational results and updating the information to direct report.
- Being involved in work discussions, performance reviews, and any issues related to the production team.
- Daily walk around and monitoring production process and monitoring.
- Handling total production workers of 400-600. Including Supervisors and Operators.
**Qualifications**
- 35 years and up.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in Foods, ready-to-eat products, frozen food, and sterilized food.
- Experience in managing food production or related field.
- Have knowledge or experience working with quality management systems, i.e. Food safety GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS, SQF.
- Have leadership skills and be able to help the team to solve unexpected problems.
- Excellent team player as well as a great team leader.
- Good teamwork, project management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Positive thinking and Problem-solving abilities and good coaching skills.
- Good Command of spoken and written English.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE .**
+ Cascade and execute the production plans and objectives and adjust operational activities by situation assessment according to available information and resources for best production efficiency.
+ Set up and execute trainings and update the shop floor operators on production principles, quality, safety and environmental, etc.
+ Prepare necessary information for standard audits: HACCP, ISO 9001, NGMP, FPL, etc.
+ Control the production cost by managing available production resources (material usage, manpower, machine utilization etc.) and in line with Nestle standards.
+ Ensure the production is properly executed to manufacture goods in line with the set standards.
+ Co-ordinate with others departments in production related activities such as trials and new product development.
+ Find out and execute proper solutions or corrective actions to prevent the re-occurrence of deviation, found in operations. Inform the superior in case of major or complicated problems.
+ Coordinate with related department on daily basis to ensure smooth production operations, such as RMP, filling &packing, QA etc.
+ Lead, guide, provide suggestions to the team and /or task force team for productivity, efficiency improvement and/or others special assignments.
+ Coach the team on production knowledge, technology and standard production practices.
+ Monitor work safety and hygienic conditions in the production lines/areas.
+ Determine and forecast the annual production budget, manpower and strategic plans.
+ Communicate information flows from the management to the shop floor and vice versa.
**ARE YOU A FIT?**
+ 5-10 years' experience in production or maintenance, food manufacturing business is preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of food processing unit and equipment.
+ Experience in managing & supervising a team.
+ Proficient level of communication in English
