We are currently transforming our production lines into advanced automation systems. We are looking for a hands-on Production Manager who can lead our team, ensure operational excellence, and drive automation implementation in collaboration with outsourced engineering partners.
Position Summary
The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the production department, managing day-to-day operations while leading the transition to automated manufacturing. This role requires strong engineering knowledge, and excellent cross-functional communication skills. You will manage a team of 7 production staff and coordinate with outsourcing partners, quality, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure production goals are met with the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Operations Management
Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities in a cleanroom environment to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
Monitor and optimize production processes, resources, and workflows.
Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, and cleanroom protocols.
2. Automation Implementation
Collaborate with outsourced engineering teams to design, install, and commission automated production lines.
Translate production needs into technical requirements for automation solutions.
Manage integration, testing, and validation of automated equipment.
3. Leadership & Team Development
Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 7 production staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Allocate workloads, set priorities, and ensure adequate training for manual and automated processes.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Help with Quality Assurance, works with R&D and Business Development team, and Supply Chain to resolve production challenges.
Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring manufacturability and scalability.
5. Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
Identify process bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for production issues.
Maintain production documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process change records.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Automation, or related field).
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in ISO 13485 or other regulated industries.
Proven track record of managing production teams.
Hands-on experience with automation projects and working with outsourced engineering teams.
Skills & Competencies
Strong engineering and technical problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Effective communicator across technical and non-technical teams.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Functions and Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations at Lamphun site
- Manage and control QCDS in Lamphun manufacturing plant
- Develop plan to help operations run smoothly
