production planning role,
The production planner has a pivotal role in ensuring that the standard of production is exceptionally high
and the delivery is on time. We are looking for a flexible, independent, and detail-oriented person. The
candidate should possess knowledge of production planning and be willing to enlarge his/her skill set in
the industry. It is a big plus to have strong communication skills and cross-cultural awareness.
Main responsibilities
- Track daily production progress at the factory and promptly alert the team of any risks or delays.
- Assist in managing and updating production schedules to meet planning targets.
- Coordinate and manage purchase orders with suppliers to ensure on-time material delivery.
- Prepare and maintain planning-related documents and reports.
- Support the manager and team with other planning or administrative tasks as required.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers.

Responsibilities:
- Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders and communicate production status to Mangers and Customers on regular basis.
- Participate in Contract Review with Customer Services and Sales on every receipt of order to complete Confirmation Order Process.
- Coordinate with Customer Services in receiving most updated Customer forecast, confirmation order and Customer requirement. Analyse and set up priority in Production Schedule.
- Analyses production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
- Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

- Periodically check inventory & logistics data and report to manage and control balance stock in warehouse and maximize ratio of WIP & F/G flow out.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Logistics & Warehouse and/or concerned function in preparing and updating Production Schedule according to customer requirement, engineering changes and material availability in plant and production capacity.
- Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion. Investigate production problem, analyse root causes and provide solutions. Escalate complex issues to Manager for resolution. Monitor production progress and ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
- Analyse back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations. Analyse delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines.
- Develop and review production plan, initiate and implement the "Forward Order Program" to help the department with quick retrieval of information and order maintenance through forecast of volume plan.
- Periodical visit customer and communicate Product Special instruction and customer requirement through Production Schedule, ensure that those requirements are follow through production process.
Update in the system of the most update information of product recipe and provide raw Material requirement list to Purchasing for the availability of raw materials for that week Production Schedule and forecast of raw material for future use.
Prepare, control and manage the availability of product label for that production week includes special attachment on product that may require by customer.
- Follow up and monitor production output according to the priority and customer requirement date in production schedule, foresee to predict production scheduling & communicate to concerned function, feedback problem to responsible person with Industrial Engineering Concepts in order to get the Finished Goods delivery to customer as commitment.
- Prepare Key Performance Indicator (KPI) report on monthly basis for production planning activities and sequences.
- Work on special or any other assignment as identified by direct supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineer or other related fields.
5 years' experience a manufacturing environment with experience in Production Planning, Scheduling and Control.
Good Knowledge of supply chain and distribution management to improve the production and distribution process.
Industry certifications, like the Advancing Productivity, Innovation and Competitive Success (APICS) Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) credential is preferable.
Good communication in English

Qualifications
