As a senior expert in the field of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly, you will play a core role in making PCB technology and SMT assembly decisions, collaborating across teams, and solving problems throughout the entire product lifecycle (from R&D design to mass production management). **Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Lead PCB technical evaluation of new products, identify risks, and ensure IPC/JEDEC compliance.
+ Provide DFx guidance, optimize PCB stack-up, routing, and pad design for manufacturability.
+ Lead cross-functional teams to resolve PCBA issues (ASICs, high-frequency connectors, flatness, etc.).
+ Support DOE for SMT process parameters to achieve target yield in mass production.
+ Design PCBA verification plans, review reliability test results, and develop DOE test standards.
+ Support certification of alternative components, BOM updates, and PCB adaptability reviews.
+ Guide setup of PCBA testing in production (AOI, flying probe, calibration) and ensure equipment readiness.
+ Coordinate engineering resources across projects to avoid conflicts.
+ Conduct training, build PCB/PCBA knowledge base, and share best practices.
+ Explore next-gen PCB technologies (HDI, flexible PCB, VIPPO, large ASIC placement, rework) and validate feasibility.
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**
+ Strong knowledge of PCB design (stack-up, impedance, signal/power integrity) and SMT PCBA processes.
+ Proficient in DOE tools, PCB materials (FR-4, high-speed), and mass production processes (immersion gold, OSP, buried/blind vias).
+ Ability to interpret and revise industry standards (IPC, JEDEC).
+ Strategic thinking to plan long-term PCB/SMT technology roadmap.
+ Strong communication and leadership skills to drive cross-team collaboration.
+ Detail-oriented with ability to turn complex technologies into executable plans.
+ Capable of training and knowledge transfer on advanced PCB/PCBA methods.
**Typical Experience**
+ 15+ years of overall relevant experience preferred.
+ 8+ years of PCBA engineering experience in the server, switch, and access switch fields.
+ Have leadership experience in PCB design and SMT projects for servers and high-speed communication equipment; have successful cases of solving extremely complex PCBA component placement problems.
**Typical Education**
+ Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, PCB Design and SMT Process-related majors;
+ Priority will be given to candidates with IPC design certifications (such as IPC610, IPC-2221, IPC-6012).

**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Responsible for understanding and implementing the customers technical roadmap and related process development projects.
+ Lead and implement the development and release of the full manufacturing process for new customer products.
+ Understand and provide feedback on customers technical requirements to team members and management
+ Responsible for developing and implementing costed and optimized feedback using Design for manufacturability (DFX) tools and processes, with the goal of reducing manufacturing cost and improving quality and reliability of product.
+ Develop, plan and lead the assessment of the capability of process applications using Design of Experiments.
+ Devise process controls and data collection strategies and evaluate complex data to assist with reporting yield, reliability and diagnoses to root causes failures impacting product quality.
+ Ensure accurate and timely communication to management on critical technical and business issues.
+ Set yearly plans and goals for the department and give direction on expected performance and provide regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback. Accountable for all department objectives and achieving agreed targets for key performance indicators.

+ **Project Management** - Ability to manage/lead complex, multiple line engineering projects that may also involve other functions. Demonstrate solid understanding of the technical, financial and people aspects of the project. **Summary**
The Manager, Manufacturing Equipment Engineering is responsible for leading and managing the employees who develop and/or source manufacturing equipment to support manufacturing operations goals. Scope of the role for employees may include design and development of equipment, qualification, deployment to manufacturing, improving performance and supporting programs to optimize efficiencies while maintaining a safe working environment.
**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Initiate the development and implementation of off the shelf standard solutions and/or new standard automation solutions to support customer product road map using Celestica Automation E2E process and tools such as Business Case, Design for Automation Assembly (DFAA) and smart sheet Project Planning.
+ Initiate the hardware and software improvements of automated lines and off the shelf equipment, via the analysis of Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and other available data.
+ Lead the collaboration and the communication with multiple internal and external stakeholders including solution providers for design approval.
+ Point of escalation for complex technical problems.
+ Be accountable for the installation, qualification, maintenance and operational performance of complex equipment within a value stream or overall responsibility for common equipment sets across the entire factory.
+ Support capital planning processes with the leadership team, develop forecasts for equipment capacity and recommend CapEx plans to meet site targets.

Job Purpose

The utility and facility engineer reports to Central Engineer Lead and is responsible for premises maintenance activities, for all operations of the central utilities and manufacturing utilities.
Main Responsibilities
UTILITY
+ Implementation of autonomous maintenance and planned maintenance activities for central utility plants (Boiler, Air Compressor, Ammonia refrigeration, Chilled plant, Water Treatment Plant, Effluent Treatment plant, Fire Hydrant distribution system, etc.) and plant utilities (Cooling towers, Vacuum system, chilled water, effluent transfer operation, etc.). And periodic monitoring / review programs for health check of the implemented operations,
+ To achieve " zero production stoppages" due to machine breakdowns
+ To optimize repair & maintenance expenditure
+ To increase machine reliability
+ To increase knowledge of technicians and plant operators
+ Implementation of safety standards through implementation of process, equipment and behavioural safety protocols for the utility plants in line with Unilever guidelines and local legislations for full compliance leading to safer working place. Educate the entire Unity operator and technical team through continuous engagement for better understanding and knowledge improvement leading to behavioural culture change.
+ Responsible for skill gap analysis of Utility engineering operators and technicians, conducting training programs for upgrading knowledge / skills on utility management and plant safety aspects as per the department training execution plan.
+ Implementation for new projects (refurbishment, modifications, new installations) in the Utility department without any SHE and quality incident within agreed budget and agreed time plan.
+ Responsible to keep records for testing of critical safety devices in the Utility plants, periodic testing and calibration, corrective actions for identified gaps to ensure full compliance for safer working environment.
+ Supplier's Standard & Quality development, ensure all handover tasks, solutions, skill & behavior, material, working process, report and safety are good and meet Unilever's standard.
+ Ensure to follow Unilever mandatory policies such as Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Travel safety, Code of business principles
+ Ensure to manage contracted services (plant operations and maintenance work) of Utility plants in line with Unilever contract management guidelines and local legislations.
Facility
+ Responsible for building maintenance activities and infrastructure facility maintenance activities (road network, storm water drains, water & sewerage distribution system, etc.). This includes all maintenance work of Minburi manufacturing site
+ Responsible for safety of Premises Maintenance departments. Design, maintenance and operation of buildings and infrastructure facilities for ensuring safety, health and environmental aspects in line with Unilever SHE guidelines and local government legislations. Ensure that Plant Engineers, Subordinates and Engineering contractors are adequately trained in health, Safety and the environment according to Unilever standards, and that all engineering work carried out by them is fully compliant with these standards.
+ Responsible for skill gap analysis and driving training programs for upgrading engineering knowledge / skills of factory engineering team in consultation with HR Business partner-SC and Chief Engineer.
+ Supplier's Standard & Quality development, ensure all handover tasks, solutions, skill & behavior, material, working process, report and safety are good and meet Unilever's standard.
+ Ensure to follow Unilever mandatory policies such as Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Travel safety, Code of business principles.
Project
