Job Descriptions:
- Work in between Design Engineer and Project Engineer (not pure design work).
- Coordinate with customers to get drawings and information for design and quotation.
- Create design & drawings for structures such as machine covers, machine frames, factory equipment, and safety fences.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to solve problems and provide technical support.
- Prepare project documents, including presentations, drawings, and inspection sheets.
- Check product design & assembly issues and find technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project or Design Engineer.
- Skilled in designing and drafting structures such as machine covers, machine frames, factory equipment, and safety fences.
- Strong ability to manage time and workload effectively.
- Capable of working under pressure, with good teamwork and coordination skills.
- Willing to visit customers and suppliers around 2–5 times per month.
- Proficient in basic use of SolidWorks or Solid Edge.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical or Civil and Structural Engineering, with at least 13 years' relevant experience in Buildings Mechanical or Electrical Design, installation and testing and commissioning, and leading delivery of multi-disciplinary projects in modern commercial and industrial buildings. Data Centre Experience will be preferred.
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead a large project team on technical delivery. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Sufficient experience to demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.
- Organized approach and ability to accept increased responsibility and produce accurate and detailed work.
- High level of computer literacy and exposure to BIM / Revit will be highly desired, with advanced problem-solving skills through investigation and analysis.
- Literacy in the use of digital tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Naviswork, BIM360 and drive BIM processes.
- Strong ability in navigating 3D BIM model to review multi-disciplinary design, identify issues, provide solutions and delegate the design team to resolve them.

- Creating and managing the regional design review calendar
- Assist the Design Managers with Bluebeam design reviews at each RIBA stage, especially ensuring comments are formally closed out.
- Assist the Design Manager with the MCE Process.
- Manage the compilation of the regional Design KPIs
