As an Quality Inspector, you'll be reporting to Inspector Team Leader or Operations Manager and working as part of our Operations department. The purpose of QIMA's Operations team is to deliver our industry-leading services to our clients while ensuring that all the work we do is performed to the QIMA standard of quality.

Your main duties will revolve around on-site quality inspections of our clients' products.

• Check email daily to receive inspection documents.
• Attend to inspections on time and communicate with supplier in a professional way.
• Perform the inspection of the merchandise according with company procedures. Supervise the stuffing of the containers according with company procedures.
• Fulfill inspection reports according with company procedures and timelines.

It could be you if you have:

• Possess a college degree or above in related fields
• Experience of at least 1 - 2 years in quality management for eyewear
• Knowledge of AQL standards, as well as relevant safety and quality regulations
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Great attention to detail and strong professional ethics

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for checking the final output of digital images/data to ensure they have been created in accordance with the client requirements, existing brand rules and printer specifications.

Role & Responsibilities :

• Adhere to all Standard Working Practices (SWP's)
• Attend and participate in team meetings
• Promote best practice and foster an environment of continuous improvement
• Build strong positive working relationships with production resources
• Work to schedule to ensure agreed turnaround times, communicating to process owner if schedule is not achievable
• Ensure artwork creation and amendments, reprographics and colour separation conform to Technical drawings, Master templates, Print trials, Client requirements, Brand rules, Printer specifications and Internal instruction
• Perform range-checks to ensure brand consistency throughout the product range
• Ensure adherence of data to printer specifications, prior to release to the printer

Job Requirements

• Competency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Outlook, Word & Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team
• Printing Knowledge advantageous, but not essential
• Due to artwork requirements, Japanese Language Capability is essential

Job Description

• Understand business requirements by analyzing product design document of the features / tasks assigned for e-wallet and credit.
• Create test cases and prepare test data, set up exit criteria for ShopeePay-related features.
• Test execution to find any design or development defects that might have been neglected when designing or developing a software application.
• Work with a regional team to ensure that the requirements from locals are implemented correctly.
• Investigate, report bugs, and ensure features are working as expected, all processes are controlled and monitored.
• Act as subject matter expert, and provide practical solutions to operation teams. Give the user's point of view for next enhancements.
• Collaborate with the product team to monitor all work according to the required quality system and evaluate all standard operating procedures to ensure the effectiveness of all features
• Set up an automation test script to identify issues in the development process and detect live issues early.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in end-user testing, mobile app testing or a similar role.
• Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance.
• Previous work experience in e-commerce, Fintech, backend systems or social media industry would be an advantage.
• Previous working experience as a QA automation engineer would be an advantage.
• Highly goal driven and able to work well in fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to details, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Great team player and possess good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good English language skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• To lead a team of Testers in assignment project.
• Provide test case, test script, test report and timely complete testing tasks based on the requirements and testing theories, thereby ensuring that project deliverables align with quality standards and customer demands.
• Prepare test data.
• Perform system testing (Functional testing, API testing).
• To Support user for SIT and UAT.
• Prepare training material and conduct internal and external trainings conduct internal and external training.
• Co-ordinate with users, BA and developer to solve the issues from production and non-production environments.

Skills & Specifications

• At least a bachelor's degree in computer science or business-related qualification.
• At least 5-8 years (for senior) and 3-5 years (for mid) of working experience in the Quality Assurance role in the Banking or Software Development industry.
• Familiar with issues reporting software like HPALM.
• Familiar with Unix / AIX / Linux, Postman, Jira.
• Good in English language (knowledge in Chinese language would be an advantage).
• Moderate to advanced skill in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio is preferred.
• Able to deal with clients independently.
• Good communication & presentation skills; gathering & interpreting relevant user's requirements, and conduct training.
• Good observatory skills to identify issues arising from requirements gathering.
• Good analytical skills to propose solutions/workarounds for identified issues.
• Ability to identify system gaps, document business processes and convey customized design to software development.
• Adaptability to change to embrace the continuous changes in IT project implementations.
• Team player, with common sense and certain level of emotional intelligence.
• Knowledge in testing tools or automated test would be an advantage.
• Experience from migration project would be an advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Work with development team to review requirements to provide timely and meaningful feedback
2. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
3. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
4. Develop and execute automation scripts using Robot Framework (Selenium, Appium) , Jmeter
5. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
6. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
7. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
8. Ensuring the software quality and provide the testing report before production release
9. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

Qualifications

1. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
2. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
3. 3-5 years experience as quality assurance engineer
4. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
5. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
6. Hands-on experience with software automated testing tools (jMeter/Robot framework)
7. Have experience with mobile application automated testing tools
8. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
9. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mobile app testing, with a strong background in manual quality assurance.
