Purpose/Role Summary:

Complete the inspection tasks in time accordingly to the standard process, to ensure the quality of the products shipped to Delta from suppliers. Test and verify products according to customer requirements to verify whether it meet the design requirements. Report to Lead Quality Specialist of Thailand office.

Key Accountabilities:

• Local source inspection for shipments from Thailand suppliers. Proceed source inspection on site per our standard process before shipment.
• Manage documents of the inspection reports and report testing results to LM.
• Conduct the product testing and equipment maintenance. Run the product testing equipment and report results, such as salt spray / heat quench / thermal cycle and functional testing.
• Thailand office testing equipment maintenance.
• Support to build supplier testing capabilities. Execute testing correlation between Thailand office and suppliers' labs on regular basis. Understand the differences and provide the solution to close the gap.
• Work with ASCM team, provide on the ground supports.

Critical Skills/Knowledge

• College degree or equivalent degree
• 3+ years relevant quality management experience.
• Prefer from plumbing industry is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of QC workflow.
• Able to understand mechanical drawings.
• Prefer having the testing equipment operation experience.
• Reading and writing English in report composing
• Prefer mandarin in oral communication.
• Familiar with operating with mechanical measuring tools
• Familiar with Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• SAP skills preferred.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Language or a related field.
• Knowledgeable with automobile structure and quality control.
• Have basic knowledge of quality management theory and enterprise management, and be familiar with the 7 tools of quality management is prefer.
• Knowledgeable in quality standards (IATF 16949:2016 & ISO9001)
• Experience in automotive industrial Quality staff, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good Chinese language skill (HSK5+)

Tasks & responsibilities

• Link the quality and product departments and address the factory's pain points to set up a project quality task force. Set stage goals, monitor the achievement of indicators, and rank and evaluate the task force on a monthly basis.
• Monitor quality issues arising from the trial production of new products, formulate rectification plans, monitor their implementation, and identify and eliminate key risk issues.
• Organize and implement special quality control for new products in the early stage and promote rectification of pre-sales and after-sales problems in the early stage of listing.
• Conduct regular meetings based on time data management, and issue quality warnings and performance appraisals for overdue issues.
• Coordinate with the headquarters to collaborate on problem-solving.
• According to the initial flow management plan, perform time data management, quality review and vehicle shipment review, and implement special management and effect evaluation.

About Team
& Role

The Data Quality Officer is involved in ensuring data quality standards are implemented and practiced across the enterprise. Through the Data Quality Index (DQI) and dashboard, the main role of the Data Quality Officer is to create data quality measurement, monitor and analyze data quality issues and identify solutions to enable a healthy data-oriented culture at an enterprise level.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data quality profiling, evaluate datasets to identify potential issues and patterns of data quality issues with understanding of business definitions.
• Build Data Quality rules, mappings, workflows based in the data quality framework and requirements.
• Implement data quality monitoring and control mechanisms and define and implement data quality validations.
• Manage data quality platform effectively to undertake data quality assessments and data validation as part DQ framework.

A highly skilled Senior Quality Specialist will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the highest quality standards for all Metthier products and systems. Quality Control Planning & Execution:

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality control strategies and test plans for Metthier's products and systems.
• Design and execute various types of testing, including functional, performance, integration, security, and system testing.

• Collaborate closely with product development teams and engineers to understand product requirements and design appropriate test plans.

Defect Identification & Resolution:

• Accurately identify, log, track, and report software and system defects in detail.

• Verify defect fixes to ensure problems are correctly resolved and do not introduce regressions.

Quality Process Improvement:

Experience using online Caterpillar drawings (in EPIX or HVC) and 1E Specifications (in REDI) also highly desirable.
• Experience in use of manual measurement devices (calipers, gauges, micrometers) highly desirable.
• Understanding and experience with the root cause and corrective action (RCCA) issue resolution process is highly desirable.
• Understand BIQ process
• Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with coworkers and customers.
