About The Role
As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will oversee QA for raw/packaging materials, manage SAP quality systems, lead audits, ensure GMP/HACCP compliance, handle incidents, and lead a QA team to uphold product quality standards.

• Reporting to: Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Oversee QA processes for raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), and trade products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Manage material status: positive release, quarantine, and rejection.
• Ensure GMP and HACCP compliance related to RM and PM processes.

System & Process Management

• Administer RM/PM quality control in SAP, including release, rejection, and quality management settings.
• Maintain and update the Allergen RM master list and ensure proper distribution.
• Manage and control non-conforming materials and products, including RM, PM, and trade items.
• Handle blocked and NC stock, including RM issues and product release concerns.

Testing & Risk Management

• Coordinate annual RM testing with suppliers and internal teams to meet timelines.
• Conduct raw material risk assessments and food fraud vulnerability analyses.
• Manage special material programs (e.g., ETO control) per customer requirements.
• Review and update ETO program compliance and batch testing results.

Incident & Complaint Handling

• Lead investigations and follow-ups on material and product incidents.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on non-conformance feedback and corrective actions.
• Support customer complaint investigations, traceability, and mock recall exercises.

Audit & Regulatory Support

• Support internal, customer, and third-party audits.
• Assist in vendor assessments and complaint investigations.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and regulatory standards.

Team Leadership & Performance

• Lead, train, and manage a team of QA Officers.
• Monitor team performance and manage manpower planning and overtime.

Additional Responsibilities

• Submit Valid-IT documentation as required.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications And Skills

• Degree in Food Science or other science disciplines with related manufacturing experience
• Minimum 5 years working experience in food industry with Quality Assurance background
• Familiar with Food Safety Program and Hazard Analysis HACCP, GMP, BRC, food safety & legislation, SAP
• Knowledgeable & excellent experience in Analytical Laboratory Testing including sensory test evaluation, basic of chemical/physical testing and calibration of equipment
• Candidate with 3-5 years supervisory skills is a must
• Prior experience in handing and supporting internal and external quality audit is preferred
• Good communication skills in English both oral and written
• Equipped with good computer skill as well as accountable for the adherence to and conformance of established quality control procedures, policies and standards at the assigned plant location to ensure the highest quality product and materials necessary to meet customer expectations·

Job Descriptions:

1. Supervise and control QA activities for incoming, In-process, and outgoing inspection processes, including Laboratory testing.

2. Ensure that all QA staff (QA Incoming, QA Officer, and QA Inspector) are well trained.

3. Ensure that all QA documents are up to date and comply with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, customer requirements, and ALPLA standards.

4. Coordinate with other departments and discuss quality matters that need special attention.

5. Provide quality testing/evaluation results of trials and their related documentation to ensure proper execution.

6. Create reports, and attend and discuss quality issues during Quality Meetings, Daily Meetings, and Monthly meetings.

7. Monitor and control the issuance of Corrective and Preventive Action Reports.

8. Ensure that all inspection tools, jigs, and equipment are in proper condition, calibrated, and have undergone preventive maintenance.

9. Support the Q representative in handling quality relevant customer questions and complaints

10. Periodically evaluate gauges R&R to ensure the accuracy of the measurement system

11. Maintain good housekeeping of in-process workstations by conducting at least the basic 5S daily or as the need arises.

12. Other tasks assigned by supervisors /manager

Qualifications/Skills:

1. Graduate of any Engineering Course or related courses in the field of Science (Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology)
2. With 3-4 years of progressively responsible experience in supervising quality assurance and/or quality control
3. Experience and background in ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, 5S, and Safety are needed.
4. Experience in process control and product control
5. With solid experience and background in the implementation of quality plans, work instructions, procedural manuals, and other quality documents in the manufacturing industry.
6. With skill in utilizing manpower and resources to achieve targets.
7. Able to use quality equipment and evaluate quality issues.
8. Proficient in using a computer and basic application software in dealing with quality-related reports.
9. Good interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills to properly execute quality procedures and address issues that are critical in operations
10. Good English language skills (oral and written).
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

• To ensure that processes of the Quality Management System are established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with BRCGS, GHPs, HACCP, ISO 17025 standard and customer requirements.
• To manage suppliers to ensure the products that supplied to company have good quality and food safety for consumption.
• Create equipment calibration / verification plan and to ensure all equipment have calibrated and accuracy.
• Update registered documents relating to Quality Assurance in order to maintain the quality system.
• Conduct GHPs / plant's sanitation audit to ensure structures, facilities, and employees complied with GHPs requirements.
• Conduct Internal Quality audit as per plan. Identify gaps and make recommendations for resolution and improvement in order to maintain the quality system.
• Filling customer questionnaires that relate to company's quality system.

Qualification:

• Bachelor Degree in Food Science or relate field.
• At least 5 years experience, have knowledge about BRCGS/FSSC22000, GHPs, HACCP, ISO 90001, supplier audit will be preferred.
• Have knowledge about instrument calibration.
• Good command English and computer skill.

Job Duty of Quality Supervisor

QC

• Review the inspection report and data about any quality deviation, when there is necessary, setup the meeting to discuss how to fix the problem with production line.
• Closely work with production line to handle the quality issue. i.e. incoming quality variance, semi-finished problem.
• Once received quality issue. Will conduct quality improvement meeting with production line to find out root cause and improvement action.
• Prepare monthly quality performance reports and send out
• Monthly review meetings with production line

QA

• Lead QA team member to implement the QA process in target production line.
• If colleague have problem in production line, supervisor will figure out corrective action.
• Review and audit the QA data. If there is high deviation, supervisor will work with production line how to improve the QA process.
• With the monthly QA review meeting, instruct production line where is the main problem to work to improve the WIP quality.
• Work with Engineering Team to solve production issue

Administration

• Organize team manpower and establish a weekly inspection schedule
• Process monthly administrative documents for team members

They are seeking an experienced Quality Technician/CMM Operator to join their manufacturing team. This role involves conducting part-time measurements at both our factory and supplier sites, ensuring accuracy and quality, and reporting back to the Quality Management Team. The position is essential in maintaining high standards of precision and quality in production.

Responsibilities

• Perform part measurements using CMM and other quality inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product accuracy
• Conduct quality inspections at the factory and supplier locations, reporting results to the Quality Management Team
• Prepare and maintain standard quality and dimension reports for internal and external use
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure precise product specifications
• Utilize MSA (measurement system analysis) and SPC (statistical process control) to monitor and improve production processes
• Collaborate with the production team to address quality concerns and implement 8D problem-solving methodologies
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in Six Sigma training and related quality improvement projects'

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in quality control, preferably in the metal or related industry
• Proficient in using CMM for product inspection
• Experience with quality inspection tools like calipers, micrometers; experience with vision measurement systems is a plus
• Good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Knowledgeable in MSA (measurement system analysis) and SPC (statistical process control)
• Familiarity with ISO9001 and IATF16949; Six Sigma certification is preferred
• Experience with PPAP/APQP is an advantage
• Ability to prepare standard quality and dimension reports
• Familiar with 8D problem-solving and willing to undergo Six Sigma training

Key Responsibilities :

• Experience in planning and budgeting (Profit & Loss)
• Ability to think strategically, good communication skills, good presentation skills and Team Management
• Technical knowledge and experience in QC tools (QC-7 tools, PFMEA, 8D, SPC, 5Why), KD supply chain knowledge is a plus
• Strong communication, data analysis, critical and logical thinking
• Valid driver's license
• Good command of English
