Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of shrimp bioassay and disease challenge trials (EHP, EMS, Vibrio).
- Develop, standardize, and maintain SOPs for research protocols and testing procedures.
- Oversee trial quality: environmental monitoring, mortality recording, sampling, and biosecurity compliance.
- Manage reporting systems for trial progress, performance trends, and benchmarking.
- Analyze trial data and prepare reports/presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with genetics, nutrition, production, and QA teams to align research with product development.
- Train and supervise technicians and junior staff on bioassay procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and animal welfare requirements.
- Maintain validated trial protocols and research archives for knowledge management.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Aquatic Animal Health, Pathobiology, Aquaculture, or related fields.
- Training/certification in aquatic diagnostics, lab quality systems, or biosecurity (advantage).
Experience
- Hands-on experience with disease challenge trials in aquatic species, preferably shrimp.
- Familiarity with molecular, histological, and microbiological diagnostics (PCR, microscopy, etc.).
- Skilled in SOP development, QA/QC procedures, and structured reporting.
- Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with cross-department coordination experience.

Qualification
