Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Officer located in Bangkok. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees and visitors. Daily tasks include developing and implementing health and safety policies, conducting accident investigations, performing regular inspections, and providing safety training. The Safety Officer will also oversee security measures and collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• วุฒิการศึกษาวุฒิการศึกษา สาขาอาชีวอนามัยและความปลอดภัย
• มีประสบการณ์งาน จป.วิชาชีพ ในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมจะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
• สามารถใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Office (โดยเฉพาะ Excel และ Word) ได้ดี

16. Encourage open communication for reporting safety concerns and near misses

17. Coordination and Collaboration with Business Unit Representatives

18. Foster collaboration and coordination across business units on safety and business continuity efforts

19. Business Continuity Management

20. Work with BCM team members and BU representatives to develop robust BCPs

21. Ensure plans address identified risks and support continuity of critical operations

Education

• Bachelor's degree in any field with more than 5 years of manufacturing experience and completion of Department of Labor Protection and Welfare (DLPW) training to register as a professional-level Safety Officer
• Bachelor's degree in Safety (preferred)
• Relevant certifications such as ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (preferred)

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive safety experience
• Background in mining, energy, or manufacturing sectors
• Proven track record as a Safety Manager
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

Skills

• English proficiency (TOEIC 550+)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate safety within a business framework
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various regulatory requirements
• Proficient in writing reports, procedures, performance reviews, training programs, and presentations
• Strong knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
• Exceptional attention to detail and observation skills

Discovering the Role

This role ensures safety, health, and environmental compliance across all operations, focuses on planning, executing, and overseeing SHE programs to minimize risks, manage emergencies, and meet legal and corporate requirements.

Major Responsibility:

• Plan and follow up safety, health and environment plans (including risk and emergency response)
• Collect, analyze data and statistics including safety, health and environment report to the manager
• Observe the operation including subcontract and customer or the 3rd. party to comply with government regulation and law.
• Investigate the cases of accident, injury, illness or annoyance caused by the workplace, then write a report on the case with solution, as well as prevention measures
• Observe the legality, rules and regulations and standards of the safety, health and environment of the workplace.
• Consult and advisor on safety and environment of the workplace
• Plan and provide training to all employees including special courses such as firefighting, basic safety process in workplace and etc.
• Ensure that all practices / activities in workplace are compliance with the legal, corporate or other requirements.
• Take care safety documents on construction site / or submission documents that necessary at site base on company's
• Policies and government laws.
• Other tasks as assigned by Management

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree of Occupational Health & Safety or bachelor's degree with Professional Safety Officer certificate (Qualified to be Professional Safety Officer in accordance with Safety law)
• Have experience at least 3 years of Professional Safety Officer in construction industrial.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 or Construction site, activities and compliance practices to the government regulation.
• Good command in English and computer literacy
• Able to work on-site construction for safety control works.
• Positive thinking of service mind and teamwork.

Job accountability:

• Develop, propose, promote, implement, monitoring review EH&S plan

• Plan & provide training and drive EH&S measure in accordance with the rules & regulations for staff, contractor, customers

• Gather, Review & Drive implementation of relevant regulation to ensure compliance with Regulation

• Review & analyze EH&S data incl. (but not limit to) incident, lagging/leading EH&S KPI and recommend prevention or improvement

• Facilitate incident investigation and follow-up action through completion and ensure effectiveness

• Organization and support EH&S activity for customer or public incl. CSR activity

• Prepare and develop related safety document (Construction Manhour, QSO, TSO, APT, Near miss, Summary c by Weekly & Monthly (Monthly, Safety Report,…etc.)

• Review and approve and close for work permit from Contractor

• Coordinate with other parties which is related with construction work (Customer, Related Government Officer)

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety

• 3-5 years of work experience in field of safety

• ปริญญาตรีวิทยาศาสตร์ สาขาอาชีวอนามัยและความปลอดภัย หรือสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้อง (มีเกรดเฉลี่ยขั้นต่ำ 2.70)
• มีประสบการณ์การทำงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง 3-5 ปีขึ้นไป
• มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับ Standard system: ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, NFPA, OSHA
• มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับ กฎหมาย และมาตรฐานงานก่อสร้าง และ พรบ.โรงงาน

หน้าที่หลัก:

• กำหนดมาตรฐาน, ตรวจสอบ และประเมินความเสี่ยง พื้นที่ทำงาน สภาพแวดล้อมโดยรวม เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าพนักงานสามารถทำงานภายใต้สภาพแวดล้อมความปลอดภัยที่เหมาะสม ซึ่งรวมถึงสภาพแวดล้อมสถานที่ทำงาน สภาพถนน และสภาพจราจร
• กำหนดมาตรฐาน, ตรวจสอบเครื่องจักร เครื่องมือ อุปกรณ์ทั้งหมด เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าพนักงานทำงานโดยใช้เครื่องมือที่มีสภาพดี เช่น อุปกรณ์ป้องกันอัคคีภัย ป้ายความปลอดภัย สภาพรถยนต์ อุปกรณ์ความปลอดภัยในรถยนต์ และอุปกรณ์ป้องกันส่วนบุคคล (PPE) เป็นต้น

• กำหนดแนวทางในการตรวจสอบพนักงานขับรถ เกี่ยวกับแอลกอฮอล์ และยาเสพติดโดยการสุ่มตรวจ รวมถึงตรวจสอบการสวมใส่อุปกรณ์ป้องกันส่วนบุคคล (PPE) เป็นประจำหรือไม่ เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าพนักงานมีความพร้อมในการปฎิบัติงาน
• สร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้พนักงาน สร้างพฤติกรรม และตระหนักรู้ด้านความปลอดภัยที่ดี โดยกำหนดการฝึกอบรม ให้คำแนะนำในการปฏิบัติตามกฎระเบียบ แนะนำวิธีการทำงานอย่างปลอดภัย รวมถึงวางแผน และจัดกิจกรรมด้านความปลอดภัยอื่นๆ เช่น Take Five, Safety Talk, Safety Meeting, Safety Week, Safety Project เป็นต้น
• จัดทำเอกสาร และรายงานด้านความปลอดภัย เช่น จัดทำเอกสารของเจ้าหน้าที่ความปลอดภัย (จปว), รายงานการประชุมคณะกรรมการความปลอดภัย (คปว), รายงานสถานการณ์และกิจกรรมที่ไม่ปลอดภัย, ติดตามแนวทางแก้ไขและป้องกัน เพื่อส่งเอกสารให้กรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานในเวลาที่เหมาะสม

คุณสมบัติ:

• จบการศึกษาปริญญาตรีขึ้นไป สาขาอาชีวอนามัยและความปลอดภัย
• มีทักษะด้านการฝึกอบรมและพัฒนาบุคลากร
• มีทักษะด้านการสื่อสารอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
• มีความรู้ด้านการบริหารความเสี่ยง กฎหมายขนส่งจราจรทางบก และกฎหมายอื่นๆที่เกี่ยวข้อง

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all relevant safety management systems, procedures, and documents assigned to achieve compliance with ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 and customer requirements.
• Risk management and hazard identification for all factories.
• Arrange safety training for all contractors involved in construction and new factory installation projects.
• Waste and wastewater Control (Quantity, quality, and documents submitted to the government)
• Ensure the safety of the working area's machines, equipment, and conditions.
• Manage the fire evacuation and other required related documents.
• Support Quality Standards (e.g., ISO9001) relating to facility, safety, and personnel.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor of Science (Occupational Health and Safety) or any degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of progressively responsible safety & environmental experience that involved responsibility for building, factory, hazardous waste management, and wastewater treatment systems operations.
• License of Hazardous Materials Controller License Department of Industrial Works. (DIW) 2018.
• License of Professional Safety Officer.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Computer skill.
