Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Data Zone Co., Ltd. in Chonburi. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility, personnel, and assets. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operations of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Patrolling the premises and monitoring CCTV cameras to detect and prevent any security breaches or incidents
• Controlling access to the facility by checking and verifying the identification of all visitors and personnel
• Responding promptly and appropriately to any emergency situations, incidents, or alarms, and reporting them to the relevant authorities
• Maintaining detailed records of all security-related activities, incidents, and actions taken
• Assisting in the implementation and enforcement of security policies and procedures
• Providing a friendly and professional presence to ensure a safe and secure environment for all

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role, preferably in the data center or IT industry
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills to identify potential security risks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of people
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle emergencies effectively
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other security personnel
• Fluency in Thai and English languages
• A valid security guard license or willingness to obtain one.
• Military background is a plus.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 years of Security Operations Center or Cyber Security experience.(CCTV Control Room)
• Must be willing to work in a setting that incorporates a shift schedule to support 24x7 operations.
• Solid foundation in security management principles, as well as important skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication.
• Proven record of success with project management skills for balancing multi-site activities.
• Broad-based knowledge of Security laws and regulations.
• Direct the development, implementation, and monitoring of an effective strategy to mitigate risk, maintain continuity of operations, and provide for the safety, environment, sustainability, and security of all parties concerned.
• Ability to effectively and cooperatively interface with peers, colleagues, and clients.
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills, and ability to employ intelligent flexibility.
