Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage global continuous improvement and automation projects throughout their lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.

  • Collaborate with global and local stakeholders, including operations, engineering, quality, and IT teams, to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.

  • Ensure all projects and implemented solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including ISO 13485 standards and other applicable medical device regulations as well as software validations.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial targets.

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

  • Develop and execute change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies by the relevant teams.

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of continuous improvement and automation initiatives. Prepare and present regular project status reports to the Global Operations Excellence Director and other stakeholders.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and local stakeholders on automation and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to build the continuous improvement and automation capabilities of the local Surat Thani team.

  • Actively mentor and coach team members to foster their professional growth and identify and develop a successor for this role.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers of automation equipment and services.

  • Ensure comprehensive project documentation, including validation plans and reports where applicable, is created and maintained in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • MBA degree will be an added advantage.
  • Subject Matter Expert and Hands-on experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma & Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in manufacturing.
