Mandatory technical skills

• Proficiency in test automation tools like Robot Framework/ Selenium,
• Experience in writing test scripts in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and integrating automated tests.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Responsibilities

• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive TCM, test cases and test assertions.
• Excellent testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Effective at working and communicating with local and remote teams.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr).
• Experience in black box, gray box, white box and negative testing

• Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing PLC, drive, and HMI software for both standard and automated crane systems
• Reviewing and validating automation code to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and on-site commissioning for smooth system startup and handover
• Troubleshooting PLC logic, inverter configurations, and machine-level control systems during development and commissioning
• Collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the line manager

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industries such as heavy lifting equipment, overhead cranes, gantry cranes, stackers/reclaimers, or automated yard systems
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical machines and ability to read electrical schematics
• Proficient in Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio5000, and Siemens WinCC
• Proven problem-solving skills in PLC logic, inverter startup, and system commissioning
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Skilled in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting
• Willingness to travel internationally for short-term assignments

Job Definition

• Application and extension of test systems and procedures
• Design, programming and execution of test cases for non-functional requirements (for example, load and performance tests)

Job Qualification

• 3+ years of experience in testing backend systems, web applications, and APIs

• Certification as ISTQB agile tester very beneficial

• Experience in the (most of) the following technology stack:
