Key Responsibilities:

• Support R&D projects such as the design, preparation, execution, analysis, and advancement of research studies and Orthopedic device development projects
• Support design evaluations (such as FEA, simulated use testing, dry labs and wet tissue labs etc.) and support generating documentation of clinical and surgical technique observations to innovate meaningful design solutions.
• Work with Surgeon, medical Staffs, and design engineers to review literature, analyze data, assess opportunities, advance new product concepts and improvements, generate requirements, develop designs, and support laboratory tests reports.
• Effectively work and provide R&D support within a team of multiple departments (e.g.,  Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, Clinical Affairs, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, etc.) necessary to achieve the product goals and objectives, all within a given timeframe.
• Support education and training of clinicians and their staff in the use of the Company's products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or related field.
• Experience of industrial experience in R&D or product design, with a preference for at least 2 years product development and design experience in medical devices products.
• Good in 3D solid modelling (e.g. Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, Autocad or related software)
• Proficiency in Simulation Software (Ansys, Inventor Nastran, Abaqus or Solidworks Simulation)
• Knowledge of medical devices regulations, ISO13485 or other regulated FDA and ISO/ ASTM environment is required.
• Expert in bio-mechanical, mechanical, researching, analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Expert in English (Reading), communication & interpersonal skills (TOEIC score require 600 up)

• Global Ambient OEM R&D Strategy
  : Define and execute global Ambient OEM R&D strategy, driving effective execution of customer development and new product development projects globally.
• Best-in-class OEM R&D
