Qualifications

1. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
2. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
3. 3-5 years experience as quality assurance engineer
4. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
5. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
6. Hands-on experience with software automated testing tools (jMeter/Robot framework)
7. Have experience with mobile application automated testing tools
8. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
9. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus

Requirements :

• Create test cases and prepare test data, set up exit criteria for ShopeePay-related features.
• Test execution to find any design or development defects that might have been neglected when designing or developing a software application.
• Work with a regional team to ensure that the requirements from locals are implemented correctly.
• Investigate, report bugs, and ensure features are working as expected, all processes are controlled and monitored.
• Act as subject matter expert, and provide practical solutions to operation teams. Give the user's point of view for next enhancements.
• Collaborate with the product team to monitor all work according to the required quality system and evaluate all standard operating procedures to ensure the effectiveness of all features
• Set up an automation test script to identify issues in the development process and detect live issues early.

Principle Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, create test scenarios, and execute manual test cases
• Perform functional, UI, and regression testing for web and mobile (iOS/Android) apps
• Identify, document, and report bugs clearly using tools such as JIRA or similar
• Verify fixes and conduct re-testing as needed
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders in Agile/Scrum teams
• Participate in QA activities throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in manual software testing
• Familiarity with test case management tools and bug tracking systems
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data verification
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA processes
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams is a plus
• Nice to Have (Optional, but advantageous)
• Interest or experience in automation testing (e.g., Playwright, Appium)

Job Description:

• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications of applications in development to determine how to develop into testable elements
• Create test scripts, test scenarios and test methodologies and document for execution
• Conduct tests for applications in production or in development, applications pending migration, or applications recently patched
• Document test results, and compile results of other testers into a consolidated report for management
• Know environment impact and side effect to other modules when features are changed or when developing new software
• Implement automation script to coverage features and functions of the products
• Collaborate with the Product Owner, BA, Developer and QA team to understand timeline and impact for each new feature
• Report bugs and errors to development teams

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree or higher - in Computer Engineering or related fields
• Experience 2+ years experience as a QA in Agile development team both manual and automate testing
• Experience in creating scripts to control automated test tools using Robot Framework
• Experienced and Comfortable with Automated Testing Tools and Libraries
• Understand testing concept, basic testing technique, software life cycle and Agile fundamental process
• Able to develop efficient SQL and understanding of relational databases
• Experience in Cloud Platform especially GCP is a plus
