JOB PURPOSE

To design, develop, and implement fit-for-purpose warehouse logistics solutions who fluent in English skills that meet customer requirements, operational objectives, and commercial viability. The Solutions Design Engineer supports business development, operational improvement, and implementation projects by providing detailed technical and analytical expertise, including layout planning, process optimization, and cost modeling.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solution Design & Development

• Create end-to-end warehouse solutions, including layout design, process flow, equipment specification, and automation integration.

• Translate customer requirements and data into viable operational designs.
• Support bid development with detailed solution designs and costings.

• Data Analysis & Modelling

• Analyze customer and operational data (volume, SKU profile, pick rates, etc.) to inform design decisions.

• Use modeling tools and software (e.g. Excel & simulation tools) to assess the viability and efficiency of proposed solutions.

• Commercial & Costing Support

• Develop accurate cost models for labor, equipment, and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with commercial teams to prepare pricing proposals and business cases.

• Project Handover & Implementation Support

• Work with implementation teams to ensure smooth handover of design specifications.

• Provide technical support and design amendments during ramp-up and go-live phases.

• Continuous Improvement

• Review existing operations to identify efficiency improvements and potential re-engineering opportunities.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field 2-5 years' experience in Logistics operational supervision or management

Qualifications:
